Brief History:
Charlie grew up in small town South Carolina. While all of her neighbors were illiterate hill-billies, her father, Liam was an educated man from Harvard. A major in English, he wrote books about the Civil War. He loved the Civil war, so did his daughter. Both of them would take place in reinactments during the summer time. Liam ran the town library. So he always had acess to the books if he needed to look something up. Not too many people visted the library, in fact some of the townies made up stories about it. Saying that it was haunted and Liam was a ghost and his daughter was a prisoner.
In school Charlie would be the one who sat next to the window and would stare out of it, making her own little theories about how things worked. She hated school, unlike most children of Athena. Charlie was naturally smart, and could usually do pretty good in school without much studying. But she couldn't remember things. Which is what worried her about finals and exams. Often she would find herself getting yelled at to pay attention in school. She couldn't help it. One day the teacher was teaching the math class about Polygons when Charlie was staring out the window, again. "That's it!" The teacher cried and marched over to Charlie. Charlie looked up suddenly, her eyes full of wonder as to what the teacher would do. The teacher grabbed Charlie by the hand and ripped her out of the desk. Charlie whimpered, "Ouch that hurt my wrist," She said as she cradled her wrist. The teacher growled and her eyes turned red and she attacked Charlie. Charlie barely survived the attack and that night her father talked about camp. Liam always knew about Athena and Charlie didn't until that day. So Liam and Charlie took a bus to Camp and she stayed there.
Physical Appearance:
Charlie has long, wavy, dark brown hair to her mid-back. Her bangs part off to the side. She likes to wear it down and loose, natural. Her hair cutter once told her she had beautiful hair, but she didn't believe her. She has light, steel gray eyes. They're piercing at times, yet gentle and wandering, curious, even. Charlie doesn't feel the need to wear makeup, mostly because she's too lazy to put it on. When she wears her hair down, you can't tell if she's wearing makeup or not. When she has her hair up, you can tell. Charlie stands at a small height of five foot two inches. Charlie didn't really care for any sport except soccer. But she hasn't played soccer in awhile. She usually is found in a short hippe/bohemian dress with tights and Converse. Usually a belt too. Charlie has the quarkiest glasses; they're big and thick framed since she's nearly blind without them. She got them in the Wal-Mart in S. Carolina and since they didn't have great prescription glasses she got the old ones. At first the kids made fun of her in school for them, but she loved them. Charlie is always found with her sideways satchel and several thick books. Right now she is working on the Harry Potter series.
Personality:
Charlie tends to avoid people since she hasn't had the best expirences with them. Charlie doesn't like to speak out with her voice but with her actions or her writing. Charlie aspires to be a writer like her father. Charlie loves to read and if there's a soft patch of grass around, then you know where to find her. She isn't shy, though. She doesn't like to talk to people because she finds them not easy to talk to on a level that they understand. She does talk with her siblings though. Charlie is quarky and good with words. She's "freakishly smart" as her classmates would tell her. She has the tendency to freeze up during situations which is why she prefers the infimary over battles. She's wierd like that. Charlie is very patient and can wait. Charlie wasn't diagnosed with ADHD, rather ADD. The inability to pay attention. She also has really bad allergies to horses and dogs. But not cats. Charlie isn't inactive but she isn't extremely worky-outy either. She likes to eat though, but not too much. She knows she has to watch what she eats. She tends to keep to herself, which ties in with her avoidance of people.
Pets:
She has a beagle named, Copper.
Talents:
Not really any demigod talents.
Weapons:
She carries a dagger on her at all times, and pepper spray.
