Sacred Pearl

In Creative Writing, we had to pick a noun and an adjective from a bag and make a poem on it, and this is what I wrote (below).

Creamy circle shines
restlessly on her fragile
neck. Coughs escape
her dry mouth.
Cherry red
blood
pops from broken
skin, and slithers down her pale,
cold legs.

The pearl drops.

Laughter bounces off the sewer
walls as a wrinkled hand
holds what was once a sacred
treasure.
Small shards splash
down from the hand.
The pearl dissolves
into sand, broken
by the palm of
evil.

xD Yah, most of our class did poems related to death, even if their title was like, "Rainbow Sunshine". Talk about dark.

sweet poem
