Touring Camp.

Riley walked to the front of camp with Charlotte. "Here, where I assume you've been before, is the entrance to camp. Nothing too special, that's Thalia's tree as I'm sure you've heard, and outside of the borders you're liable to be attacked by monsters," he chuckled.

Charlotte walks along, following Riley when he stops she manages to catch up with him. "I figured out what it was, but I didn't get the whole keeping out monsters thing, but now I do"she says to him. She then smiles lightly, and looks around.

Riley nodded. "It's sort of confusing at first, but you'll get used to it." He walked under the camp arch into the camp. He turned left, heading towards the Big House. "And this is the Big House, which I'm sure you've seen, where Mr.D and Chiron live. It's... nothing wonderfully special," he admitted.

Charlottle walks along side Riley. As they walk she takes time to notice as much detail as possible. She stops when the reach the big house, and looks at it. "Its pretty big"she says softly, unsure what to say. It would have been best if she had just not even said anything.

Riley grinned. "Well, that's sort of the point. It's called the Big House for a reason," he smirked, teasing her. They continued to walk, though, past the volleyball courts and the arts and crafts area. "Arts and crafts, rec fields... pretty generic for a camp, surprisingly. But they're unusual all the same. Most camps don't have a room dedicated to Greek sculpture or a fighting arena, which we'll pass later. Or an armory." He grinned. "You try any weapons out yet?"

Charlotte smiles as they walk, she was actually having fun. Riley was a really nice and funny person. "Wow"she says as they pass by all of the places, she had never been to a camp before so she thought it was amazing and plus it was all Greek-y. "I have a bow, and some arrows"she says to Riley.

Riley kept walking. He wasn't surprised at her shock, it was a common thing among new campers. He'd experienced when he came a year ago, but now he was so used to it that it was almost weird to think of coming here from the outside world.

"Really, just a bow?" he asked her. "Aww, that's boring. Hand to hand combat is so much more fun!" he chuckled. "But seriously, I couldn't live without my sword. I can't shoot for my life, I give you credit."

Charlotte smiles and looks around slowly. "Honestly, I would prefer to have a sword, but my dad gave me this bow, and everything"she says softly. Char then pauses, and bends down and quickly ties her shoes, which had come un-done.

Riley nodded, deciding not to press about her dad. He didn't have that problem, he was one of the lucky demigods whose mortal parent was... mostly normal. Or so it seemed. He waited for her to tie her shoe then continued.

"After this we'll pass the lake and the amphitheater, which is pretty impressive." Truthfully, Riley liked the amphitheater a lot. There he could play his bass, and the acoustics were really good.

Charlotte smiles lightly, and keeps on walking. She stops walking however, when she hears Amphitheater. "Theres an ampitheater here?"she asks sounding shocked.

Riley stopped as well, startled. "What? Well, yeah. We Greeks do it big," he said, smirking. "But it's kind of a necessity." They passed the lake, where they had been before, and Riley gazed at it for a moment, remorseful. Abruptly he kept moving towards the looming amphitheater.

"Well, that just made this camp so much cooler"she says to him. "Not, that it wasn't already cool". Char then starts to walk once more. Man for a summer camp, well a year-round camp, it was pretty dang cool.

"It's cool until people start fighting, and monsters try to attack you," he rolled his eyes. "I mean, camp's great, but being a demigod has it's downsides, though I know it's probably hard for you to see that now." He sighed, and they reached the amphitheater, which he had to admit was pretty magnificent.

Charlotte starts to frown slightly. Fighting, and attacking didn't sound that fun. Heck it didnt seem fun at all, it seemed horrible. "Oh"she says softly. She then notices that they've arrived at the ampitheater. "Wow"she says truely in awe.

Riley grinned at her. "I told you it was great," he said. "If you want we can take a peek inside," he suggested, tilting his head toward the entrance with all of its regalia. It was rather impressive, even after having seen it every day for a year or so now.

"Oh lets look inside!"Char exclaims. She then hurries over to the entrence, and walks inside. She is suprised right away, it was truely beautiful and amazing.

Riley grinned. "I take it you're unexcited," he said, stepping in himself. It was pretty deserted today, and he was glad. He hated when people would hang around in there for no reason, or especially when someone would try to sing if they were terrible.

Char starts to walk around the ampitheater. Just taking in the beauty and detail. "This is by far my favorite part of camp, so far"she says softly. She then countines to just walk around, look at everything.

Riley traced his hand on the ornate wall. "It's mine too, in case you were wondering," he stated. "The amphitheater is pretty awesome, and it's sort of nice to spend time here. I play bass, so I've always liked it here. You can sort of... get away." Gods, what was he saying to this girl? Whatever.

"Yeah, I guess. I love it, so..." he trailed off. "You sing? Really? I'm sure you're pretty good." He smiled and stood for a moment, feeling awkward. "So, would you like to see the rest of camp?"

Charlotte nods slightly. "That would be wonderful"she says to him. She laughs and waits for him to lead her the next place.

Riley begins to walk out, gesutring for her to follow his lead. "Well, next we have the Rock Climbing wall and then we'll have to cross the lake to the mess hall, where I'm sure you've been," he said. He couldn't wait to see her face when she saw the wall.

The two approached the rock wall, which currently had molten lava sliding down its side and moving parts galore. "Voila. The rock wall of doom," he joked, grinning at her. "Doesn't it look like fun?"
