Just a date in the City.

Cameron smiles at Leah, as their cab pulls to a stop at Times Square. He pays the driver, and opens the door, and slides out of the cab. He then stands there like a gentleman holding open the door for Leah.

Leah grinned. This was all so... exciting? She supposed that was the proper term for it. She had changed before they left, putting on a skirt with tights and boots with a top and most obviously a jacket, more proper date attire than the sweats she'd been wearing before, but still casual.

Emerging from the car, Leah muttered a quick thanks to the cabbie before she got out and gazed at the city. She almost wished she could hear the sounds, but this was enough. She could feel the bustle in her bones, and she grinned. She'd always loved the city and tonight was no exception. It was cold, crisp, with flurries falling from the sky. The locals looked up in dismay, everyone hurrying about with purpose, but they had time and for that she was glad.

"So, where are we going first?" she asked Cameron, taking his hand and shaking herself from her extremely brief stupor.

Cameron smiles and looks at Leah, she was beautiful. He then looked at his own outfit which consited of jeans, a plaid flannel shirt, and a jacket. He then looks around at the view, it was purely amazing.

"Wherever you want, to go"he says to her. He then lifts her hand up to his lips, and kisses it gently. Cameron then uses his free hand to reach inside of his jacket, and pulls out a flower, a rose, for Leah. "For you"he says as he hands it to her.

Leah grinned, blushing when he kissed her hand. She thought vaguely that this was something she would have called unrealistic had she seen it in the movies, something that she would have immediately regarded as corny and stupid. But right now, she didn't care. She happened to be enjoying this. Then he handed her a rose, at which she blushed a deeper shade of red.

"You didn't have to do that," she stated, though she smiled at him anyway and kissed his cheek. "Anyway, I don't care what we do. We could grab dinner, or anything, really. Sometimes just walking around Times Square is interesting," she stated, glancing around at the pedestrians. There were some... interesting characters out on this night.

Cameron blushes, and looks around at all of the people. He hoped that none of them we're monsters. Cameron slowly turns and looks at Leah. "Why, don't we walk around a bit, and then maybe we can go get some food"he says to her. He then checks his pocket, to make sure that something is still there.

"That's fine," stated Leah before looking away, glancing about at the Jumbo tron, the huge stores, everything. She wasn't a tourist, but she hadn't been allowed to come here for most of her life, so now it was a luxury. She was jolted suddenly when some person bumped into her. "Watch it!" he shouted, but she didn't catch it. She just sighed and moved out of the way. People in New York were disrespectful, if anything. She chuckled to herself before turning to Cameron. "I guess we should start moving then, before more people get annoyed."

Cameron glares at the guy, but soon his gaze softens. He smiles at Leah, and starts to walk. "So, any suggests for dinner? We should eat soon, we have to be somewhere at eight"he says to her. He then looks ahead of him, to make sure that he's not going to walking into someone or something, before he looks back at Leah.

Leah took his hand as they started walking, skirting around gaping tourists and too-focused locals. He asked about dinner, and she responded quickly. "Anything's good. Italian?" she looked at him, raising an eyebrow. "New York has the best Italian, besides Italy. Pretty much anywhere you go here is amazing," she grinned, trying to focus on walking and watching him talk at the same time. She was curious about where they had to be by eight, but she didn't say anything.

Cameron smiles at her, as he keeps walking. "Italian it is then"he says to her. He then starts to hum, as they walk. So far, he was having a great time. He loved being with Leah.

Leah had to smile at the human Statue of Liberty and the skeevy looking Elmo they passed as they walked along. New York was so weird, she decided, not that she hadn't already been aware. She loved it here anyway. They approached an Italian restaurant (insert name here) and entered.

As they walk, Cam looks at the people, alot of them we're really weird. Walking into the resteruant, he walks over to the hostess. "Table for two please"he says politly. He then smiles at Leah, as they are shown to their table. When they get there, he pulls out a chair for Leah to sit down.

"Thanks," she murmured, sitting down in her seat. She looked around the restaurant and saw that it was pretty nice as she opened up her menu. Goodness, there were so many choices... though she'd probably just get pasta or something.

Cameron smiles, and sits down. He then picks up a menu and opens it. Wow, some much food that sounds so tasty. He smiles and looks at Leah, "Any idea of what you want to eat?"he asks her.

Leah, having looked up right before Cameron, caught what he said, and nodded. "I'll probably just get spaghetti or something," she stated, shrugging. "What about you?"

"Calamari or sometype of pasta most likely"he says to her. He then smiles lightly as he looks around.

Leah nodded, smiling. "That sounds good," she stated, drumming her fingers against the table anxiously, though she wasn't sure why she was anxious. Probably just the ADHD coming through. She glanced around the restaurant quickly before letting her attention settle on Cam. "So, where do we have to be at eight?" she asked, letting her curiosity come though. She had the feeling he wouldn't tell her though, not that she minded.

Cameron smiles at Leah, and takes a sip from the glass of water siting on the table. "Well, its a suprise, unless you want me to tell you, in that case I will"he says softly.

Leah shrugged. "I can wait," she stated. "I don't particularly mind surprises." She took a sip of water after squeezing some lemon into it. The waiter came and Leah ordered, waiting for Cameron.

Cameron smiles, and orders his food. His gaze then turns back to Leah. He grins and brushes his hair out of his face. Cam then picks up his straw, and rips the top half of the wrapper off, and slides the rest of it down. He then sticks it in his mouth, and blows, causing it to shoot towards Leah. He then sticks his straw in his water, and grins.

Leah jumped as the paper shot out at her, but she caught it before it hit her like a boss. She chuckled at the thought. It must have been her crazy demigod skills acting up again. She took her own straw and shot its paper back at Cameron, smirking and laughing.

Cameron starts to laugh, at her reaction. When she blows her paper back towards him, he reaches up and catches it. He smiles and takes a sip of his water.

Leah placed her drink down, scanning the restaurant instinctively once again before turning back to Cam. "It's nice here," she stated. It was large-scale, with lots of people, but soothing in that way. They weren't easily taken notice of, and that was a good thing. It was calm and insanely busy at the same time, and she felt secure in the bustle. She'd always been a New York girl, and that would never change.

Their food arrived at the table, and Leah grinned, swirling some spaghetti around on her fork. It was too hot to eat, but she fumbled with it anyway.

Cameron smiles at Leah. "It is nice here, I love it"she says softly. He then looks around slowly, but his gaze falls back on her. When his food is placed in front, of him he grins. He picks up his fork and starts to eat.

Leah began to eat her spaghetti, taking a sip of water when she paused for a moment, checking the time on her wristwatch. It was still early, and not near eight, so they were good. The anticipation was bothering her, though it shouldn't have. She was too curious. She tried to find a way to distract herself. Bingo.

"So, this is random, but I feel like we're really close but we don't know each other. Does that make sense? I could say so much about you but I don't even know your favorite color," she chuckled.

((Excuse my scary attempts at space filling. xDDD It's really pathetic. I was like: "What can they do while eating to make it less awkward? ahaha))

Cameron smiles and eats his food. Man it was really good. As he eats, Cameron really doesn't think about anything. He's just to busy eating. "Well then, why don't we change that?"he suggests to Leah. "Lets see my favorite color is silver".
