Alex smiled back, and breathed a sigh of relief with the knowledge that he and Carina could still hang out together. Suddenly his mind flashed back to his Mom's calling for him to find John and then come to her. He turned to her and gave her a questioning glance. "Do you really want to come if I go trying to find my step-father?" He asked her.

"I think it would be more fun of an adventue if you went. But it's up to you. Either way I'm not leaving anytime soon cause I have no idea where John could be staying at right now."Alex answered her. He smiled lightly at her.

Carina laughed and pulled out her phone, "Ever heard of Google stalking?" She smiled, then frowned when she looked at her phone. A text from Murphy, was on the screen. 'Aayy, baby, where u at?" it said. Quickly, she furiously typed, "I'll be back in a week or two, I have business."

"John's.....not the type of person that you could find on google. Much as I would like for him to beasy to find, this is gonna take some time....unless mom decides to send me another sleepy time chat secession and tell me where he is right now." Alex said some what disappointedly.

Alex sighed and shrugged his shoulders. "Well for now I guess we could head back to the mansion. After all I believe I was about to show you the pictures I took of the island while I was there." Alex said to her with a smile.

Carina's eyes lit up, "OH, YEAH! I remember that!" She laughed, excited.

Alex laughed as well. "Well, my lady, shall we take the long way home or shall I shadow travel us back to the mansion?" He asked her jokingly with a mock bow and everything.

"Well then I hope you have an empty stomach."Alex said and then placed a hand on her shoulder and they vanished, reappaering in her room at the mansion.

Carina laughed. Once they got to her room, she realized how different it was a year ago. Now, the walls were purple, not white, her bedsheets were a light pink, not white with a rainbow edge. and even the carpet changed.

Alex laughed a bit and searched around his bag. He hadn't really payed attention to the changes when he got here because he was so intent on getting to the wedding, but now that he took the time to look he liked the new decorations. "Nice change, Carina."He said refering to the room. "Ha, There you are." He said when he saw his bag. He picked it up and sat down on the bed. He rummaged though it till he pulled out a book filled with pictures of his experiences at the island.....and a few of his family.....

Alex smiled and recalled some experiences from different pictures in the Album. But after a few page flips they got to the pictures of his family, and his good mood suddenly vanished.

Carina smiled, seeing the pictures. "You were so cute, Alex!" she exclaimed.

Alex smiled but it was a hollow one at that. "Yeah..I gues I was...." He said to her in a melochony tone which either meant something was bugging him or he was bored, Right now something was bugging him.

Carina put the book down and looked at him, concerned. "You okay?" she asked.

Alex looked up at her and you could tell something wasn't right with Alex. But instead of admitting the feeling that was bugging him, he just pushed it deeper down and shrugged. "Yeah...I'm fine, Carina..." He said and it was obvious that he was lying.

Alex looked up at her and stared for the longest time trying to figure out who to answer and not burst into tears. He remembered so much about his time spent with John and Tom. It had always been just the three of them, traveling the country fighting whatever monsters found them. But now, it was just him. He was alone. Well that's a lie, he had Carina, he knew she wouldbe there for him. But as a friend and not much else... Finally he sighed and said to her, "It's..It's just that I haven't seen John for a long time now, and the last time I saw Tom was at the cabin that day a year ago when we started dating. But now my dead mother is telling me to go find him and I just...." He trailed off as tears had started to slip from his face. He words caught in his throat and he was having trouble breathing.

Carina cupped his face in her hands. "Hey, it's okay," she cooed. "We'll find them. I'm sorry, babe." She wrapped her arms around his shoulders.

Alex laid his head on her shoulder and sobbed a bit more, but soon quieted down. "What do you have to be sorry for?" He asked her, wondering why she was apologizing for practically no reason.

Carina shook her head. "For everything. Tell you what. We'll go back to CHB, and from there we'll find them. Okay?"

Alex sniffled and bit and sat up, rubbing his tears away. "Ok." He said to her, now starting to relax, after a very very long day."
