Xenon: son of Phobos

Character Name: Xenon Oulixes
Gender: male

Age: 14

Description: Hair colored jet black with one streak of crimson on right side, hair usually kept down close to his eyes, covers his eyebrows. eyes colored very dark red (sign of Phobos after being claimed.) Around 5ft 10. Skinny, almost skeletal, but has surprisingly decent strength for someone of his build. scar over right eye from sword, diagonal slash runs down from above eyebrow to lower right cheek. Born with oddly sharp teeth, especially upper canines. small tat of a dagger on back of neck. Wears black clothing, usually a black hoodie unzipped with a red God of War shirt underneath (he finds the irony funny). Walks barefoot unless he has to wear shoes, in which he will wear sandals or other open toed shoes. headphones are kept around his neck usually, even in battle. Pale skin.

Personality: Very sarcastic, generally someone who doesn't trust others, keeps emotions close to himself, but will let someone he trusts in on his inner feelings, keeps secrets. Generally is one not to start conversations, but make himself known by staring at someone until they notice him, huge fan of My Chemical Romance, particularly the hidden track on the Black Parade album, which makes other campers usually cringe. Spits when mad, smiles when happy (not often) or when he gets a particularly good idea (pretty frequently)


God and mortal parent: God Parent: Phobos, mortal parent: unknown name, but is known to have had at least one jail sentence, Xenon knows who his mother is, but

does not choose to ever speak about her, and hates people bringing "that ******* " up in conversation.

Powers**: Eyes will flash red when in battle, in which the enemy will see him as the
thing they are most afraid of (has to be a tangible object) this can happen around three times (this is VERY draining and usually can only be effective on a enemy that is not strong or is already wounded). He can also paralyze people with fear for a short time (think Orochimaru from Naruto, but for not nearly as long). He can do this around 3 minutes before it stops working, and only works on one person at a time. no other notable powers

Flaws: His distrust of people extends to everyone he doesn't know, so he is just as likely to turn on someone he has just met as he is to attack the enemy, his powers tend to leave him discombobulated, and he may attack a friend until he is calmed down, suffers from vivid nightmares in which his friends die or turn on him, so he is overprotective of his few friends.

Pets: a black dingo named Stray


Weapon: A two edged celestial bronze sword, named Scarecrow, has a chain on the end that Xenon uses to swing and throw into enemies, and pull it back out.


Talents/Skills: Expert at his weapon, and can use Scarecrow to easily disembowel weak enemies, can run quickly, good at thinking about battle plans, and can adapt and change that plan when battle actually starts.

RP Example*: As I look down at my latest kills, my fathers words come back to me. "the best weapon you have in a fight is fear. Use it, and none will stand in your way." This proved not to be the case, I joke to myself, this time the best weapon I had was my sword." As I bend down to examine my prey, a staggering figure catches my eye. I curse myself, I forgot to finish off one of them. Then, a snarl comes out of the darkness and Stray knocks the survivor to the ground. I walk slowly, giving the soon-deceased time to realize that these are the last few moments of his life. Staring down at him, my eyes flash red as blood. He begins to scream, and a quick slice of Scarecrow silences him. I clean my blade in the grass, and with Stray close behind me, I start to walk away. I begin to sing to myself..."I'm the kind of human wreckage that you love..."

Biography*: Xenon never knew a quiet life. Born in an unknown location, Xenon raised himself in an abandoned warehouse. He was claimed in front of another Half-Blood, who went goofy after Xenon accidentally used his new powers for the first time (he has always been guilty about this) found several days later by a group of satyrs, he was escorted to CHB and has lived there ever since. He sleeps in a small shack he built for himself, since he has night terrors, and generally wakes up screaming. He has never been involved in many camp activities, and is not a friend to many campers, but rather one people are afraid of

Now bad news.. I'm afraid that I don't believe that teleporting through black, foul smoke is a power of phobos children.

Anyway can people resist his other power?

Ok, that's fixed, sorry about the pm, but I'm a little impatient, it's what you could call on of my flaws, anything else need to be changed?

Sorry that slipped my mind. They can if they are strong-willed or powerful (for both). If the enemy is wounded badly, or frightened/intimidated by Xenon, then they are more easily succeptible to both powers. Usually anything weaker than he is, or someone who is afraid of him will not be able to resist (skeletons, some of minor monsters, younger demis) the more powerful than him the enemy is, the less effective both powers will be (stronger enemies can still move after he tries to paralyze them, even stronger are not effected at all.) though if he seems too weak, remember his weapon does that answer it? (no sarcasm intended)

I know you explain exactly what you mean, but some people would still count this as power-play depending on the situation he is in.

Example: Random walks into a place ticked off, sees a little kid, just uses his powers with no warning whatsoever and the little kid gets hurt because he can't do anything to stop it.

sorry, I've been gone all weekend, leading younger scouts on a caving trip real fun (muddy, wet, with little children whining every five minutes, God it was awful!) how about it cannot effect other half-bloods, this makes it so I cannot power play, and I cannot stop other people's characters from attacking me, maybe it can only work on NON-player-controlled characters that are weaker than him? Since he is mainly a swordsman, and only uses his powers when he is desperate or is "in for the kill," I could limit this to the restrictions listed above and only twice, can't be the same person either time (this keeps me from getting a loophole, so that I cannot freeze someone for four minutes, so basically, only one person at a time, cannot be another player controlled character, is used rarely, and cannot be used on the same person twice in one battle. It's pretty restrictive, but I like challenges! Also, it makes him rather easy to kill off if I decide I don't like his personality (sorry, my evil side talking)

Hmm, Approved. But you're allowed to use it on other player controlled-characters. IF they post their character getting affected.
