Marley's Bunk

I throw my duffel bag and backpack on a lower bunk. I smile, then leave.

I lay down my bed and take out a notebook, sticking out of my knapsack.

I think about a poem I've heard about before, and scribble it on the notebook.

Nature:

All the birds have flown up and gone;
A lonely cloud floats leisurely by.
We never tire of looking at each other -
Only the mountain and I.

I close the notebook and go to sleep.
