Character Name: Raquelle Santiago

Age: 18
Description (hair and eye color, height, body type (skinny, muscular, etc) required): Dark brown, almost black hair, straight to about mid-shoulder blade length. When she goes out on missions, she puts it up into a bun so that it doesn't get in her way. She's got high cheek bones, and model standard, pretty face. Her delicate, feminine features consist of a thin, angled, curveless nose, and trimmed, narrow black/brown eyebrows. She's got deep sunken, almond brown eyes with short eyelashes, and a glistening smile, straight smile. She's twig skinny, though she eats like a pig, and stands on the smaller size, at around 5'1.
Personality: Raquelle is feisty and always with a competitive edge. Quite the tomboy, she prefers contact sports and video games over gossip or nail painting. Things like that are too trivial and unimportant to her liking. She's got a wild, fun-loving side and is always seeking adventure. Her weakness lies at corny jokes and food. In general, she's rather apathetic and laid-back, with an easy-going nature and cheesy sense of humor--but don't think she isn't capable of sarcasm. Her replies can be sharp when she wants them to be.
God and mortal parent: Hecate and Adriano Crowley
Powers**: She can enchant weapons and have them adapt into other, more convenient forms(like turning a machete into a keychain). She can also cast minor ancient barrier spells, and, although it hasn't been proven, she claims to be able to cast bad voodoo on people.
Flaws: Raquelle's weakness lies in her pride. She will never turn down a challenge, even when the odds are against her. And, although she seems like a boulder on the outside, when her pride is compromised she becomes sensitive and emotional, and cries a lot. She's also overly-determined and believes that, yes, winning is everything, and is extremely hard on herself when she loses. She is her worst critique. Raquelle is also quite brash and will do most things without a second's hesitation, and is very stubborn. She doesn't like others doing things for her, and refuses to accept help most of the time.
Pets: Raquelle has a miniature pony named Harris. Harris is dark brown with ruffled fur and a long, black mane of coarse hairs. He likes to roll in the dirt.
Weapon: Raquelle is average with a bow. Her talent lies in a giant boomerang of celestial bronze with sharpened edges to slice and dice when she throws it. The inside is hollow, so the weapon, despite being almost as large as Raquelle, is rather light.
Talents/Skills: Soccer, lacrosse, fist-fighting, writing, skate/snowboarding, bread baking, and *basic* first aid.
RP Example*: Raquelle grinned as the ball, dappled monochromatic, spun her way. She made a dash towards it, throwing her leg back, angling, and kicking it as hard as she could towards the opposite end of the field. It bounced off the toe of her cleat, and sailed through the air, making it halfway across the grassy domain where another figure, a blonde boy in an identical red uniform of shorts and t-shirt, went to receive it. She rushed across the field to join him, but not to kick again. By the time she got there, he'd already bypassed two clueless looking brunettes in blue, who were whirling around to try to catch him, and smashed the ball into a big rectangular net. She threw up his hands and screamed in excitement, before they shared a properly earned high five. "Nice shooting, Tex." She grinned, raising an eyebrow at her teammate.
Biography*: Raquelle lives in a sports family. She's got 4 older brothers, two of which went to college with a sports-related major, and one being the quarterback at her old high school, as well as an older sister who plays on the girl's softball team, and a younger brother who is beginning to learn lacrosse. Her father owns the local gym and her mother is a fitness freak. In general, there is no such thing as "lazing around" in her house. Her family is very loving, but share the same weakness to competition that she does, and so they constantly pressure her to try to do good in anything. The rules are strict in her house, and punishment is duked out when she doesn't do good enough, whether on a school paper or in a soccer game. Her parents love her and want what's best for her, but they tend to over-do it.
When Raquelle was 13, she got into an argument with one of her brothers. She got so angry that she accidentally created a barrier around him, trapping him from getting out. When her parents came home, she got so scared that the barrier dropped, and her brother went screaming to her parents that she locked him up in an "invisible cube." The cube was actually green in tint, but that's irrelevant.
Her father discussed with Raquelle then about her bloodline, and how that she was the child of a goddess. He also gave her the option to go to a camp designed especially for people like her. Excited to go on a new adventure, she said yes, and a few days later they drove up to Long Island, where Raquelle was brought to the camp entrance. She stayed there, year round until she was 15, when she decided to join the Hunters of Artemis. This way, she could keep moving around and adventuring.
Notes: She doesn't hate boys, but she's never had a romantic interest in any, either.
