I walked upto shore, kicking my flip-flops off. I dug my toes into the wet sand. It was close to midnight, and I wasn't supposed to be here. Fully clothed, I took a deep breath and dived into the blue. Underwater, most people thought that it was confusing and disorienting. I begged to differ. Everything finally made sense here. Down here, in the blue. I lay down on the sand underwater, watching the moonlight turn the schools of fish passing by bright silver.
Biography*:
David was raised normally by his father, who later remarried and had another kid, a girl named Destiny. David and Destiny were unseparable, but at age 5, she suffered from a really bad bout of skin cancer. Two days after her 6th birthday, she passed away. David was distraught, and for three months, he would do nothing but go to the beach [they had a house near the ocean] and spend all his time there, his tears blending witth the saltwater. His father told him about his godly ancestry when David turned 13, and he ran away three days later, only to be saved by a satyr.
