Looking at stars

I walk in. Observatory? Sweet. I walk over to a telescope and look out, looking at the stars.

I enter, seeing telescopes. I look inside of one and gasp. "So pretty!" I giggle.

I hear somebody and look away from my telescope. I see a little girl. I smile. "Hello there, dear. I'm Mana. What's you name?" I ask her.

I turn grudgingly away from the telescope. I see the girl and smile. "I'm Genevieve," I reply.

I walk in and sigh. "Man, I sigh a lot." I say to myself.

I see somebody else walk in. "Hello. I'm Mana Inferno Lida. Who are you?"

"I'm Julien Phillips, nice to meet you." I look at the little girl and smile at her. "Hi, who are you?"

I glance at her, "Thanks. I like your name too."

I blink from my temporary zone out. Hmph. I grumble, not in the best mood, but smile anyway. "My name is Genevieve, and I am a daughter of Eros," I tell her.

"Hestia..." I say, thinking. "Goddess of the hearth?" I ask quietly. I've been trying to memorize every god and goddess. They were so confusing.

"Yes, dear. Hestia is the goddess of the hearth and home. The funny thing is that I've never had a home." I sigh.

"Really?" I ask. "My only home has been here. Well, I did have one but..." I struggle to remember, frustrated.

"I lived in an orphanage until I was ten, and then the next six years at the circus." I shudder.

"Well, I lived in England, and then I moved here but..." I trail off, wincing a little at memories.

"Ok," I say quietly. I touch my pocket and feel reassured, the picture was still there.

I smile at her. Little kids are just so cute. If only I had that cuteness as a kid.

I sit down on the ground. "I've lived with my dad for most of my life, but we were in the city and I hate it there."

"I came here when I was two," I say quietly. "What's it like outside of camp?" I ask.

"Hmmm...Well, for me, it was hard. No family or friends. Everyone new I was different and that I shouldn't be talked to. And things were even harder in the circus. I was treated like dirt."
