Character Name: Ian Leven
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Description: Ian's looks mostly mirror his mother's. Her dark eyes were passed on to Ian, although his are lighter. His angular, thin face match hers almost exactly. One of the things that he takes from his father is the nature of his hair. It curls at the ends if it's grown too long, so he usually keeps it short. Although the texture is of his father, it's brown color is similar to Cassie's. He is just shy of 5', 10". His build is lean, and hardly muscular, except for just a bit on his arms from archery.
God and mortal parent: Eros and Cassie Leven
Powers: Ian can charm people unnaturally. He can't make them love him, but for about 10 minutes, that person will think of him as a life-long friend and will act accordingly.
Flaws***: Ian is very self-conscious. He also obsessively compares himself to more popular people. He'll flirt with cute girls instinctively, which often makes many resent him.
Pets: Ian has a basset hound named Gordy.
Weapon****: Ian has a short bow and a quiver of arrows. He also conceals a celestial bronze dagger in his boot.
Talents/Skills: Ian is good at archery, but only if he's quick shooting. If he's supposed to aim for a few seconds or a minute, he'll get nervous and shoot badly. He's also good at sneaking around, which used to get him in trouble when he was a youngster in school.
RP Example*: Ian walked down the small path with Gordy, who was following faithfully at his heels. In his hand was his bow, readied for anything. He knew he should be more careful, considering anyone could just jump out and scare him, thus causing him to shoot. Hopefully, though, Gordy would sense the person before that would happen, which was usually the case. Before long, he came upon a fork in the path. One side was covered with animal prints, while the other one seemed void of life. He looked down each path for a few seconds and decided on the animal printed one. The other one probably led back to the town, which was someplace he did not want to go back to. The forest was much more his place. He was thinking about the girl he'd saw earlier, the one who looked at him with her eyebrow up, that he didn't notice the boy walking towards him until Gordy barked. He caught himself just in time to not shoot the kid. Well, kid wasn't the right word. He was tall and muscular, more so than Ian. He expected the boy to jump him, and was pleasantly surprised that the boy just walked on by. Ian whistled for Gordy, who had gone into the bush to take care of some business and kept on his path.
Biography*: Ian's mother was out for a good time when she met Eros, who quickly charmed her into bed, then disappeared. This left Cassie with a child, and that child was Ian. Everyone knew Ian was different from a young age, but it was rarely brought up, because most people thought it was just them. At recess, he was the most chased boy. In middle school, he could get a girlfriend quickly. In Freshman year, he was asked to prom three times, not that he went. Eventually, his mother sat him down and told him not to play girls like he had. He took this to heart, because he knew his mother was still sore that his father left her after promising love.
From then on, he cooled his jets and only harmlessly flirted. When he was 13, he received Gordy from his Grandma, who though that he needed a friend that wasn't a stuck up 'whipper snapper.' Gordy and Ian became inseparable, after almost a month. When he was 15, he had his first monster attack, and was lead to Camp Half-Blood, Gordy in tow, by a satyr, who had helped him escape.
