Archery with the best of them(admin needed)

Rey walks into the archery range, chuckiling slightly at the obvious ease of the targets walking down the rows until something catches his 20/02 vision, that of a hawk. A simple sign with a red rope cutting of a section of the nearly perfect archery range, and upon the white sign are letters printed in gold font. The words that write 'This is the practice range of Apollo, none shall enter unless the god of archery permits it.' The sign amuzes the greatest archer to live besides his own father, having already defeated his aunt Artemis twice before, so of course he feels obliged to enter and test his luck. To test the not just that but his skill and Apollo's skill. For what more would one need than the feeling of greatness after defeating their own heavenly parent in their own sport,absolutely nothing, that is what Rey believes at least. Ducking under the rope he enters the separated range, slowly taking his long bow of his back and basks in the glory he sees before him, taking in everything before him, loving the site of it all. Now, if only his father, Apollo, would be so kind to show up and accept his obvious challange , or sport of play.

Though his son was obviously ignorant, Apollo stood before one of the camp's relatively cheap targets, aiming his righteous bow and arrow at the target. Hitting it would be incredibly easy, and it was obvious he wasn't here just to practice his archery, a skill that he had perfected many millenniums ago. The sun shone down brightly on the god, and his skin absorbed it, taking on a godly healthy glow. He didn't turn to acknowledge his son, who he knew was here, seeking him out, but kept his eyes on the target and smirked slightly.
"I aim my good bow.
Rey is very conceited.
He thinks he's awesome."
Any good writer would have winced at his horrific poetry, but Apollo beamed, obviously proud of his work.

((xD you so should have made him appear in a flash of light or pull up in his chariot/car xD. Also Rey is, as his history says, the best archer alive who isn't a god xD))

Rey smirks and chuckles shaking his head at the absolutely terrible poetry said by his father;though he must admit he can't do any better. Sure, Apollo isn't Shakespear but he is so much better than he will ever be at poetry and archery for sure sense he gained the skills from his godly father. Turning on his heels he takes aim with his bow at the same target,from his further
distance, notching his arrow and releases. The arrow flies true and soars through the air, hitting dead center of the bullzeye and splitting his father's arrow in two with a snap. "Hello father, lovely day for a nice father-son competition; don't you agree pops?" The athletic, 'hot', blonde haired, archery champion, asks his old man grinning his 'perfect' mile. All his looks are unknown to him, infact he doesn't honestly care how he looks.

OH and he never actually shot the arrow ahaha but that's okay we can pretend he did.))

Watching his son's arrow embed itself within the plastic target, an almost infinitesimal frown made its way across Apollo's perfect, godly features. He quickly retaliated nonchalantly, releasing his arrow and turning away, his bow resting at his side. As he wished, his arrow planted itself firmly through his son's. His son wanted some sort of a competition, which was absurd. Apollo raised a gorgeous eyebrow at him.
"You really think you can beat me at my own game, son?" he asked with a small smirk. He was amused, he had to admit. Usually, his children adored him, and that wasn't without due cause. He was surprised that this child wished to challenge HIM, the god of Archery, to a competition. Apollo could force the child to lose, but he wouldn't bother. The boy probably wouldn't need any help.

Rey chuckles softly as he watches his father in work, impressed greatly, knowingthat with a simple yawn or less his father could allow him to loose. Yet, he also knows Apollo can ot deny any challenge that appears before him and was once almost defeated in musical competition so why not archery? Smiling he answers the question presented by his heavenly father, "No, to be honest I do not but that does not stop me from trying, if one does not aim to beat the best he shall never become the best. You call the shots?" He says adding his own little smirk along with the glint of amusement in his eyes. Obviously proud of whom his father is but because of this his competitive streak is yet again flairing, and only when a challenge is presented to him does he do his best. And what better challenge to bring out his best than the god of archery himself? Least that is how Rey thinks about the 'situation' he has gotten himself into today, this will be one of the greatest moments of his life whatever the outcome.
