Ah, kidnapped once again; but this time, I was being led towards the smell of food. "Er, Dez, would you mind carrying my plate for me? Whenever I try to carry food, I tend to drop it off the tray..."

I smiled at her though she couldn't tell. "'Course, just tell me what you want." I grabbed two plates.

"Well, what exactly is there? It smells like chicken and cheese, but that is probably not completely accurate," I surmised.

"Nacho's, taco's, enchiladas, some kind of salad thing, burrito's, casadeas..." I rattled off.

I put a soft-shell taco on her plate and put a chicken casadea on mine. "Anything else you want?" I asked her.

"No, I think that's it." I wondered if they had cafeteria-style tables to sit at, or if there were tables and chairs, or... what?

"Okay, this way." I told her, gently pulling her in the direction of an empty table which I pulled out a chair and sat on.

I was pulled over to a seating area. I reached out with my hand and felt the top of a chair, and then the edge of a table, so I pulled the chair away from the table and sat in it. Hooray, an accomplishment. I deserved some food for my reward, no?

I put her plate down in front of her and smiled, taking a bite. "Duuude they cna cook here."

BIC: I picked up my taco gingerly, rather lucky that I did not drop anything out of it, and took a small bite. Mhm. Yes, they could cook well here.

BIC: I swallowed my bite before responding. "Well, I was born in the U.K. - Wales, actually. But w-... we moved to Manhattan when I was three." I stuttered on the we.

I looked at her curiously but didn't say anything. "Sounds cool. I've never left the continent before."

"I do not remember all that much of it, though. Just that it rained a lot." I fought to keep a waver out of my voice. I did NOT want to break down and get all depressed again.
