Mess hall!

Dylan walked in and grabbed a plate.

Danni walks in. Her necklace sparkled in the lighting of the mess hall and there was a fedora perched jaunty on her head. Picking up a plate she glanced at all the food.

Dylan smiled as a girl walked in. "Heya." he said.

"Hello," Danni replied, not looking at the boy. Her accent was very visible today, Italian. Her blue eyes looked over the food. Looking for something familiar.

"Uh, not realy. I just showed up to camp late thats all." She replied scooping some potatoes onto her plate.

Danni arched an eyebrow, "Okay?"
Man this kid is pretty direct.

"So, whos your godly parent?" he asked, eating.

"I suppose I better introduce myself," Danni said sitting down across from the kid.
"Danielle daughter of Persephone."

Kiara entered the Mess Hall, looking tired. The circles under her eyes showed how tired she really was. She grabbed a plate and piled some food on it. With a sigh, she sat down at a random table and started eating in peace.

That is, before she realized she was sitting at someone else's table. Kiara flushed and stuttered, "Er, I-I'm sorry, I di-didn't r-realize..." She trailed off. "Uh, should I go or something? Or...."

Danni smiled at the stuttering girl who was obviously flustered and exhausted.
"It's okay. You can stay." She assured the girl. "We were just swapping names actually, I'm Danielle Daughter of Persephone."
Danni's icy blue eyes studied the girl. Danni took off her fedora and her long red hair tumbled down her back.

Kiara grinned sheepishly before replying. "Kiara, daughter of Hecate," she mumbled, "Nice to meet you." She ran her hand through her hair the way she sometimes did when she was feeling really shy.

"Pleasure," She said eating her food. Actually, it was more of pushing it around her plate. Her eyes were closed and her ears straining. Faint whispers of departed demigods filled the room. She opened her eyes again.

Kiara started eating, lazily chewing on her food. She watched as other campers left the mess hall, their voices fading once they got outside. With a sigh, Kiara continued eating.

Dylan said nothing. He looked at the girl curiously. "What brings you here?" he asked raising an eyebrow. Then he realized, it was a very idiotic question. She came here to eat.

Danni looked up at Kiara with a amused expression on her face.
"Well Dylan, we are in a mess hall," She said with a strait face. "There is food in the mess hall and living organisms need to eat."

"How do we know she is a living thing?" he asked laughing slightly. "Sorry."

Kiara cracked a smile at the boy's question, and at Danielle's reply. "Yeah, I might be some sort of alien disguised as a teenage girl," she said, smiling lightly. She lifted her hand to get her glass, then realized there wasn't anything in it. She snapped her fingers and juice filled the glass. She took a sip before adding, "But, yeah, I came here to eat, because I am a living organism."

"Aliens still need to eat," Danni pointed out before taking a bite of her pizza. "Technically they are still alive."
Danni stood, "Now if will excuse me. I have to go."
She left.

"Hey!" Dylan said. "What?"
