Monsters at the Bus

-Chazz- I walk around, my own leather jacket on. The crowd was pushing along, while I was fighting through. If Siken had been here, I would be through. Several times I think I see Siken or Daniel. Once, I saw a girl my age. She smiled at me as I walked by. Every so often, I would look over my shoulder. I could swear someone was following me. Then I would turn around and continue walking.

-Chazz- I stop at a bus stop. The glass looked smudged and yet it looked clean. Just then a voice spoke up, 'Excuse me...' I turn around and look. The girl from earlier, she smiled at me, her canines unusually long. Bells rang in my head. This girl was not normal. "Were you following me? It has been two hours." I ask warily. The girl laughs and then grabs my hand. She looked into my eyes with her lime-green eyes. The pupils were cat-like and her hands were cold. Finger nails were scraping my hand as I pulled away. 'You seem lonely. Can I talk to you?" The girl asked. I walked backwards. Three other girls walked up behind her. All three had blonde hair and long canines. "I actually need to be going." I say as I hook my hand on the chain. It was perfect. My armour was at Camp, with my grenade. All I had was a small sword and my chain. The girls laughed and then began to circle around me. "Look ladies, I know I'm good looking, but I am taken." A small lie was the best option. 'Shut up, Demigod. We know who you are and now you will die.' All four girls changed. Their hair shortened and became tangled as their canines sharpened and claws grew from finger nails. Two girls held steel daggers. "Look, I am not who you think I am. Demigods are mythological." I say and whistle shrilly. Two notes followed by a long shriek, eagle-like. I had just told Scout to help. Camp was a few miles away. It would take a miracle to get help in time. 'Children of Hephaestus don't have tongues as smooth as your's. Nor do they speak Eagle. Now give up Child of Zeus.' I laugh and say, "Now you are goofy. I am your worst nightmare. Instantly, I pull the chain off and draw my sword. Hopefully Scout could get help soon enough. The two girls closest run at me and dodge when I swing my chain. "Child of Zeus, he is my brother. As is Thanatos' son. I am a son of Hephaestus. Now, die." My chain whips at the first girl as my back hits the bus stop glass wall.

Matt was walking down the street hurriedly, on his way to no place special. In all honesty, his life had been.. boring. He just had to get out of camp, and he figured walking around the city wouldn't be too bad of an idea, just to clear his mind and cure his stir-craziness.

Well, apparently this hadn't turned out to be the best idea due to the fact that there were FREAKING MONSTERS at the end of the block! "Crap," he muttered, drawing his sword and making his way over, along the wall, attempting to remain hidden until the last second. He jumped out of the shadows onto the unsuspecting monster-women, slicing and stabbing with his sword.

((Sorry for the crappy post, I have a sad lack of creativity at the moment D: It should get better as we commence posting.))

-Chazz- My sword flashes as the other guy appears. One girl grabs my arm and twists it so that it feels like it's going to break. "Look girls, I am not in the mood." I say through gritted teeth. My sword falls to the ground as my arm breaks along the forearm. It hurts as I swing my left fist into the attacking girl's face. My back slams through the glass door as one another girl piledrives me. "Hey kid, little help here." I yell as I grab my sword. My chain just didn't work properly. A dagger cuts my arm and then falls to the ground as the kid dispatches the last monster. "Thanks..." I say as I sheathe my sword and grab my chain. My jacket is shredded, as are the lower legs of my jeans.

((It's alright, I'm not really mad, but him taking out the rest of the monsters and slicing your character's arm is a bit of power play.))

Matt continues his fight with the women, slicing through about two as the kid shouts something he doesn't catch. Finally, when all of the monsters are gone he sheaths his sword, leaning against the wall of the bus stop and taking a deep breath. "Well, I certainly wasn't expecting to run into that today. Anyway, you okay?" he asked the kid, who only looked about two years younger than him.

((Not him, the monsters (4) were attacking and (2) had steel daggers. It was a steel dagger from them that cut Chazz's arm. Also, Chazz took out at least one and then had another one almost dead...but I try to be clearer.))

-Chazz- "Name's Chazz Fremont, son of Hephaestus." I say as I hold out my left hand. My right arm hurts as I realize, truely, that it's broken. Scout had disappeared. He should have been back with this kid, if he saw him. I frown deeply.

Matt shook his hand. "I'm Matthew, son of Caerus," he said, noticing Chazz's broken arm for the first time. "Are you alright? I can help.." he said, feeling stupid for repeating himself.

-Chazz- I look at my arm and see the shallow slice in my bicep, also on my right arm. My arm is broken bruised and cut. If I had been in a fair fight, things could have been different "Uhm..." I say tiredly.

((Chazz should be receiving a comunicator call from Daniel about now.))

((Communicator is in Daniel's bunk. Conversation will happen there.))

-Chazz- When my Communicator belt goes off, the headset transmits the call and reply. My head begins to spin as I feel faint. The pain starts to fade, strangely, and I look around dazed.

((I'm just gonna OOC telling ya'll that Daniel sent out his messages. I dont really want to make an offical post))

-Chazz- I try to move my arm, but when I try, the bone slides forward (not a compound fracture, just broken...) and screams in pain. I bite back a pained groan and notice the blood still coming forth (Not immediately fatal). My head reels and I pitch forward, catching myself with my shoulder. My eyes hurt.

((Fun time))

-Chazz- Three more demon-girls appear out of the long shadows. Two of them go after the kid as I take the piece of ambrosia. I shove it in my mouth and swallow. "Damn girls, do you ever leave. Back to Tartarus foul creatures." I slash my sword through the one girl's arm. Gold ichor pours out.

-Chazz- I slash at the monster-demon thing again. My sword misses and she jumps at me, ready to tear my throat out one-handed.

-Chazz- I slam my feet into the creature's chest. It goes flying as my broken arm hits the concrete.

-Chazz- I roll as best I can, if Daniel was getting tired we might be screwed. I could feel the gaze of many on my neck. These three were just more decoys. Something big was on its way.

-Chazz- I shake my head. "I don't know. My brother was a son of Thanatos, he cheated Hades once and now he's dead. Somehow, they tried to kill me at Camp. Now they are here. The first one followed me for around three hours. When I was cornered, they attacked. Now, something big is near. None of us a strong enough to take it." I feel the ambrosia take effect and then take a sip of nectar. My arm still throbs as I grab my sword. "They have surrounded us, these girls have."
