I walk in ine my track uniform and start running around the track

I walked in with my gray jeans, blue t-shirt, and black converses. I stuck my hands in my pocket and went to sit down in the grass. This was kinda, sorta awkward. I shifted awkwardly and watched Jack run around the grass. "WEWT! GO JACK!" I yelled teasingly. I pumped my fist in the air.

I ignore Jaden and run harder... The stop watch icked against my chest... faster... I pushed harder

I watched her push herself faster. I wonderd if she was a sprinter or long distance. I'm thinking she could really do either, if she wanted to. I read her face of concentration and decided not to cheer her on more. I'll leave her be.

I get closer to my mark and my hand fumbles for the stop watch... WOW, new record! Thrilled I run over to Jaden and Give him a hug... "New record!" I say smiling

I was suprised first when she hugged me but I hugged her back tightly. "Congrats!" I told her and smiled. My cheeks started to ache. I smile wayy to much.

To my surprise i giggle... I liked being around Jaden....I realized.

I let go of the hug, but still held her awkwardly in my arms. Erg, um, erum.. I let go of her and turned away, blushing. "So um.. do you run long or short distance?" I asked, awkwardly.

"Do you do any sports?" I ask.

"Basketball and lacrosse," I said to Jack. "I ran track for a year but decided I liked lacrosse better."

I rolled my eyes. "Have you seen a guys lacrosse game? Then you know the meaning of entertaining."

I stumbled backwards and held up my hands. "Hey no violence," I said and grinned. "Though I bet you can't catch me." I sprinted onto the track, knowing very well that she could catch me.

I catch up to him withing a few strides and jump on his back, getting a free piggy back. Then, I laugh

She jumped on my back and I spinned around. "Oh no we're crashing because of overloaded cargo. We're going down!" I fell down onto the ground, careful to fall onto my stomach. I laughed.
