Annalise gave her bag a mildly concerned look. "Chiron just said that cellphones were signal flares. If it was all internet, the Hermes kids wouldn't have all the online video games, would they...?" She trailed off absently, scratching the bridge of her nose.

"They certainly shouldn't, but unless they get caught, i suppose no one's really getting hurt. but yeah, anything from cell phones, to landlines, to even gps systems. Anything techy used by a demigod sends out a flare, though how far out it goes depends on what it is." Athus says remembering his briefing on the topic.

Annalise's eyebrows furrowed. "That doesn't make sense though - mot demigods use technology their whole lives, and when they go home for the summers they still do. So why aren't they all mauled to death?"

"They come here for training, and if they're not a powerful demigod, then they should be able to handle anything they come across in the real world. Although what exactly a 'powerful demigod' is, that's a loose term." He says rather boredly. "So about that movie..?"
