Night smiled and held on tightly, looking through the clouds. "How do you come a crossed getting a animal such as this?" She looks to Zeph with a curious expression.

Zephen smiled and then saw the cliff rise up before them. At the very top was the ledge he enjoyed and then the pegasus landed on the ground. "Well my father and uncle worked together to create the pegasus and Flare was a baby when I found her. She is my pegasus because of that." The view was great as he stood on the earth.

Night smiles at the scenery in front of them. The view took her breath away. "Wow.. It's beautiful.." She smiles over at Zephen and slides off the Pegasus. Walking more towards the edge of the cliff. Night takes a deep breath and closes her eyes feeling the breeze around her. "Views like this must be a gift to mortals from the gods."

Zephen smiled and then walked across the cliff until he reached the edge where he could look out over the blue waters and the many hills and even see the roads. Suddenly, Zeph heard something, the slight screach and then screams of some poor demigod who hadn't made it to Camp. Of course, the sounds were barely audible and Zephen knew it was bad. The son of Zeus backed up and then felt his foot hit against a tree right before the entrance to Camp from the cliffs. He knew what was necessary and then started at a dead run. The son of Zeus propelled himself off the cliff and jetted into the sky as high as he could go while looking for the monsters.

Night looks Zeph worried. She mounts Flare and asks the Pegasus to follow Zephen. She searches from the sky for him and spots him, following. Flying lower she shouts to him. "What are you doing?!"

Zephen grabbed the miniature lightning bolt and shot toward the edge of Camp where some kid was being attacked by a weird looking creature. It was a snake-like thing with the tail of a scorpion and giant dragon's wings as well as rams horns. The son of Zeus willed Thunderfang to expand into its sword shape and then he dropped down onto the creature as it tried to fly into the air. "The sky is MY domain, you stupid monster. Now die!" Zephen stabbed Thunderfang down and destroyed the snake thing. As soon as it turned to ash, Zephen shot a bolt of lightning down and burned the ash. Now it should stay dead. He shot back and headed back for the cliffs, getting really tired already.

"Zephen.. Hop on.." She was flying beside him at this point, a small frown on her lips.

Zephen climbed onto the back of Flare and almost fell off from his weariness. "I couldn't let that thing kill the camper."

Night nods and urges the Pegasus back to the cliff. She slides off once they land and reaches out to help Zephen off the beast. "Come here, love."

Zephen smiled wearily as he dismounted and walked over to Night. He wrapped her in a hug and then sat down to watch the sunset. "Well, now we can start our date." He sat there and slipped his hand into Night's.

Night smiles worriedly. "You should rest.." She leans into him slightly, closing her eyes.

Zephen leaned back and then closed his eyes. "So, how do you like the view?" He was tired but didn't want to pass out anymore.

Night looked over to him and started to him a soft lullaby. She was using her powers to make him start to doze off. Leaning over, she kisses his forehead gently and she wraps her arms around him. "You need rest.." She whispers gently stroking his hair.

Zephen smiled and then slowly slipped into his dreams. The one he had was of him in the sky sitting on a cloud while watching a great storm below him. For some crazy reason it had something to do with the Greene family because he saw the rise of another Greene child realizing they were a demi god. Zephen looked over and saw Austin next to him with several fresh wounds on his arms and on right over his heart. The son of Zeus put his hand out and smiled at his cousin. "You seem hurt, cousin. Why do you not stay in Camp and heal?" Austin opened his mouth and spoke in a deep but pained voice. "I did stay in Camp and it wound up with me getting hurt in the process. "If I had known about love hurting so much then I wouldn't have fallen. Please Zephen, do not hurt Night and tell her that you are dangerous. Tell her you may not be as perfect as she thinks." With that, the son of Nike vanished and left Zephen alone. Zephen smiled softly and fell deeper asleep.

Night stops stroking his hair with a small smile lingering on her lips. "I don't know if you can hear me but.. I think I may be falling in love with you.. But it scared me slightly.."She sighs and kisses the top of his head and waits for him to wake up.

Zephen awoke to the soft feeling of Night sitting next to him. He was dazed but he was happy, yet something wasn't right. He remembered bits of his dream and then the words his cousin had spoken. Austin had seemed upset for some reason.

Night frowns softly and strokes his hair before kissing his forehead. "You alright, love?" She leans into him for comfort, figuring he had a bad dream.

Zephen nodded and then held Night's hand before speaking. "Yeah, just had a weird dream. Have you ever heard of talking to someone through a dream if they aren't a god?" He wasn't sure if Austin was really talking but he felt as if the son of Nike had been there and really talking to him. Zephen tried to smile but it just turned out as a small and meager attempt at happiness while he was confused.

Night shook her head. "No.. Only my father." She held Zephen gently closing her eyes. "What was said and by who?" She snuggles up against him lovingly.

Zephen shook his head slightly. "It was Austin. He had cuts over his arms and legs as well as a long wound over his chest where his heart was. He looked like he had just been in a huge war and lost. I don't know much but he said he had wished he'd never fallen in love. Then he told me to tell you I'm not as perfect as you think." Zephen started to think and then realized something. "Shit! If he was so upset about someone and didn't want to be in love then he's probably in trouble. I have to go see if he made it to the infirmary." Zephen had only just met his cousin but he knew that something compelled him to go see his family. He stood and looked at Night. "Take Flare when you are ready." The son of Zeus sky rocketed and flew for the center of Camp.

Night watches him leave their date with concern. She mounted Flare and headed towards camp. She veered towards the infirmary to follow Zephen, making sure everything was alright. She slid off Flare and thanked the beast before entering the infirmary.

Zephen watched as the cliff rose before them again. "Night, I swear this will be our real date. So, how do you like the view?" He asked as Flare landed and they slid off the back of the pegasus. Zephen briefly held Night's hand after helping her down before he sighed and just stared into her eyes.

Night smiles softly and nodded before kissing him gently. "It's a pretty view.." was all she could say, watching the sun start to set,

Zephen nodded and then felt the kiss. He smiled and watched the sun set below the horizon. It was really beautiful to watch a sight of pure intensity.

Night looked down at her lap and over at Zephen. Something didn't feel right to her. It wasn't him or the situation; she was thoroughly enjoying herself. She just felt like she needed to check on something, for closure, before she moved forward into this relationship. Unsure of how to express this, she kissed Zephen gently once more before standing and brushing off her skirt. "I have to get going back to camp.. I.. I need to do something important." Night smiled sadly at him before backing up and taking the Pegasus before he could say anything. "Please don't follow!" She added as she flew away, her small frame looking tiny on the large winged animal.
