Zephen's Bunk

Zephen smiled and then started to wake up. He felt the cool and soft feeling of Night's hair but when he woke up fully Zeph looked at Night and saw her sleeping. Zeph smiled again and then rolled over and wrapped Night in his arms before snuggling her closer and falling back asleep. "I love being with you.." Zephen barely got the words out before he slipped into the soft embrace of her scent and his tired mind.

Night woke up slightly when he changed positioning. She was not conscious enough to stay awake, but she was conscious enough to hear what he said. Smiling in her almost-slumber, she wanted to respond but the hands of sleep had too tightly a grip on her mind. She drifted back to sleep with a small smile on her lips. It was a dreamless sleep, and the first time she slept this soundly in over a month. Night drifted into a deep sleep, one that could potentially last more then a day.

Zephen woke up again to see that the sun had started to descend over the horizon and looked like it was close to 6 in the evening. The son of Zeus noticed that Night had fallen into a deeper sleep and he smiled through the mind numbingly calmness that came after he had slept off most of his power usage. Then Zeph sat up and thought about waking Night but she looked like the sleep could be good for her so he picked her up and held her softly in his arms while he stood up and floated down to the door of the Zeus cabin. Calmly, Zephen stepped through the door and walked over to his bunk. Zephen laid Night down and then pulled a soft blanket up over her so that she could sleep. Then the semi tired son of Zeus grabbed a lazy chair from the far side of the cabin and sat down. He quickly fell asleep again, this time aware that they were probably going to miss their date.

Night seen began to dream in her sleep. She dreamt of her father, as she often did when she dreamt at all. She was a baby again, and her father held her in his arms and rocked her. Night had always had trouble falling asleep, and her father would often hold her and sing a soft lullaby to her. His voice was gruff, but seemed to have a velvety calming effect. Her dream changed to where she was sitting on a tree on the edge of a cliff. Her father was sitting beside her, stroking her hair gently.
"What is it that bothers you, child?" He said with a gentle voice.
"I am unsure of myself, papa. I met someone and in only two days he seemed to change everything.. He is hard to get along with and a knuckle head, but for some reason I can't stop thinking of him. It is all happening so quickly."
Her father chuckles and faced her smiling.
"Let me tell you something.. Your mother and I were the same way. You just have to smile and let things fall where they must... And don't forget to keep your head held high."

Night shifted in her sleep and then woke up. She rubbed her eyes and looked over to Zephen. She got up and walked over to him. Crawling into his lap, she rested her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes. After waking up, Night was unable to fall back asleep. So she sat in his lap up against him, pretending to be asleep, as she listened to his heart beat.

Zephen stirred slightly as he heard the sound of someone moving around but then again, it was a camp. There would always be people moving around. Then he felt someone climb into his lap and he smiled and spoke. "So, are you awake now?" Zephen didn't have to be fully awake to know that Night had just crawled into his lap but he still wanted to keep his eyes closed for a little while. The whole time, Zeph wrapped his arms around Night and just sat there with her held close to him.

"No." Night responds smiling at looking up at him. She kisses him gently and closes her eyes again. While resting her head on his shoulder once more, she shifts slightly getting more comfortable.

Zephen smiled softly and then leaned his head down so that his cheek rested against Night's head. "Well, I guess it is a day to sleep then." Zeph shifted so that he had Night in as comfortable a postition and then grabbed the blanket off his bunk without looking. He pulled it up over them until it to rest just below Night's chin.

Night awakens a bit later and sits up on his lap, changing positions because her legs fell asleep. She kisses him to wake him up. It wasn't a short peck but a longer kiss; one filled with passion and feeling. Night didn't pull away until he kissed back.

Zephen woke up to a kiss that he hadn't expected but instead of stopping the kiss in surprise, he returned it. Then Zeph sat up some and looked around the cabin. Even with almost noone there, the cabin was still able to feel comfortably full and warm. Zeph grinned at Night and spoke for the first time the next day. "So, did you sleep well?"

Night smiles and nods. "Yea, it was nice. No dream this time.." She gets up and fixed the skirt of her dress. She walks over towards his dresser and grabs one of his shirts. She looks over to him and motions for him to look away. Once he looks away she changes into his shirt, revealing she had shorts under her dress. Night stretches her arms about her head and yawns. She puts her hair up into a bun, the mass of hair still falling down to her neck.
"Did you sleep well? You can look back now."

Zeph grinned and turned away from Night while she changed into a new shirt. Then when she asked him how well he slept Zephen turned around and looked at her. "Wow, that shirt looks a bit big on you, don't you think?" He laughed and then continued. "Anyhow, I slept well but it seemed like it was mostly overrun by a certain situation when a guy had to fly into the air with a rather beautiful girl to win an encounter." He smiled.

Night laughs softy and pulls at the shirt. "Ya think so? I dunno I think I look cute!" She strikes a horrendous pose and laughs moving to sit on his lap. "Hmm I wonder what could have made that dream come about.." She smiles and kisses him gently

Zephen looked at the rather long red shirt with the gold tracing and the white letters that spelled out Aeropostale. "Hm, I think you look cute too." He laughed and then drug her close to him and rested his chin on her shoulder. "And I have no idea how such a strange scene could've made it to my mind." He said jokingly.

Night closes her eyes and smiles softly. She thinks back to yesterday and all that happened. She couldn't help but think that she had forgotten something.. "..Our date! We never went." Night pouts looking at Zeph. "Think we could go today?"

Zephen looked at his small clock on his phone and saw that it was only about 4:35 in the morning so he grinned and nodded. "Yeah, we can go today." It really struck his as odd that Night was so upset about it but Zeph felt like all of yesterday had been a date essentially. The son of Zeus looked at the wall and then toward the door while trying to remember what he had been planning for a date.

Night smiles at got up, stretching her arms above her head. "I was honestly actually pretty excited for it yesterday.." She blushes lightly with a small smile toying on her lips. "But I do think I will have to change first." She giggles softy and rubs the back of her neck.

Zephen nodded and then smiled at the shirt. "What's wrong with the Aeropostale dress you wear now?" He said jokingly as he remembered that he had wanted to take Night out to the cliff overlooking the harbor. It was just outside Camp but well worth the chance of an attack when you got there.

Night smirks and spins around showing off the shirt."You think?" he laughs softly and leans over kisses him gently. "I don't think everyone else would agree with you." Giggling, she slides her shoes on and grabs her dress. "You may or may not get this shirt back.."

Zephen grinned and then stood up to help her with gathering her stuff. "It doesn't really matter what everyone else thinks. I think you look beautiful in that shirt." He didn't comment on the thought of not getting the shirt back but he knew that things would work out just fine.

Night blushes softly and hugs him tightly. "Why are you so perfect?" She smiles pulling away slightly to kiss him, standing on her toes to reach. "Well, I don't have to change but I do need to drop my things off."

Zephen smiled and hugged Night before letting go and then speaking. "I'm not sure I'm perfect but I try." He picked her up and walked to the door. "But you have a place to go so you can see something perfectly stunning...besides me of course." The last words Zeph spoke just to be funny.

Night smiles softly and motions to the door. "Well, lets go then." She slides her free hand in his and walks towards the door. Turning towards her cabin she shields her eyes from the light.

Zephen walked next to Night and then saw the light bother her. Quickly he pulled out the hat he had kept with him and put it on her head. "There, now you are a supporter of flat billed hats and Aeropostale shirts." He smiled and kept walking.

She giggles softly and smiles leaning on him as she walks. They reach her cabin and she walks in throwing her stuff on her bed and Putin on Chapstick before coming back out to meet him. "Lead the way, Zeph." She smiles softly at him, slide her hand back in his.

Zephen smiled as Night walked back out and told him to go. Instead of waiting for the long walk, Zephen looked around and saw Flare grazing. He whistled higher than humans could hear and the pegasus looked up and at him. Zeph grinned and the flying horse trotted over to them. The son of Zeus lifted Night up and helped her into the saddle. "This is Flare, and she will be our ride to the date." Zephen pushed his red hair out of his face and mounted the red pegasus. Then he watched as the pegasus started at a trot and they were soon galloping through the air up to the cliffs, higher than anyone else ever went, and outside the border of Camp.
