"Yeah I understand what you mean."Daniel said to her. He raised an eyebrow at her facepalm and wondered why she did it. Then he started to turn around.

I opened my mouth, shut it, opened it, shut it again. And finally, I kissed his cheek.

Daniel's eyes widened when Shan kissed him. "I...uh...."Daniel stuttered not sure of what to say to her. He blushed and opened his mouth to say something but shut it his throat not allowing him to speak.

"Um..." I said, going red. I didn't know what else to do. I kissed him on the lips, just trying to... to just lose myself...

Daniel kisses Shan back and continues to kiss her. He moved over to the bed and sat next to her wrapping her in a hug. 'Why didn't we kiss sooner?' He thought to himself for a moment before getting rid of the thought.

Finally, the image faded.

I forgot about imagining. I forgot about differences. I forgot about my life and the oddness it could contain. I forgot everything but that one kiss we were sharing. It seemed like forever. I forgot about everything for moments.

Daniel held the kiss with Shannie for a few for moments before pulling away. He looked and smiled, "Wow.."He said. That's all that he could think to say.

"Uh huh," I said. I went red a little in the cheeks. I moved a strand of my brunette hair from my eyes only to have it return to its original position. I breathed in deeply. "Well... Um..."

Daniel brushed her hair behind her ear and smiled. He thenlooked around and remembered that they were still in the infirmary. "Want me to carry you out?'Daniel asked her.

Daniel gently picked her up and carried her out of the infimary.

Matt entered the infirmary, catching a look at himself in the mirror. He cursed under his breath at all the dried blood on his head. His hand flew to it, and he winced as his fingers brushed what was definitely a concussion. Before treating himself, though, he turned to the other guys, trying to figure out how he could help.

Daniel groans in his sleep due to overpower exhaustion and his eyes flutter open for a second. "Chazz, Cabin 1, Scout...Sha....."Daniel muttered before falling asleep again.

-Austin- I drip some nectar in the guy's mouth. Then, I turn to the other kid. "Need help? Name's Austin Greene." I say to both the people. I begin to cast the kids arm and wrist.

-Chazz- "Chazz." I say as I drink some nectar. Daniel looked bad.

I entered the infirmary slowly, dropping the spear I had been given near the door. I found an unoccupied mirror and examined myself for any serious wounds. I had a few bruises and scuffs on my body, I also had a claw mark from one of the manticores though it wasn't too deep, but other than that I was unharmed. I got a wet rag from a near-by sink, it looked clean to use, and started wiping some dirt off of my arms and face. I then tossed the rag back into the sink and turned to the beds. I stood silently, not wanting to be the person who would break the silence.

"What the hell just happened?" asked Matt blatantly, still confused about the whole situation. He grabbed a cloth, wringing it under water, and held it to his head, wincing.

-Chazz- I hear Daniel and stare at him. "Cabin One is Zeus' cabin. Scout should be there. And, Shan?"

"A bunch of monsters and demons attacked us at Thalia's Tree...if that wasn't obvious enough...." I replied to a guy I had just noticed now, I did remember him being at the fight, providing the son of Zeus with a soft landing.

Matt rolled his eyes. "I'm not that stupid, but why are these monsters bothering to attack these two only? No offense or anything."
