I kissed Cynder back immediately, leaning down a bit more so that she wouldn't have to stretch as much. I pulled her as close to me as possible, and noted that my eyes were still leaking happiness, even though I'd shut them.

I could have tightened my hold around Lee, but seeing as my arms were around his neck, that probably wasn't a good idea. Breathing was important and such. It felt wonderful knowing that Lee was as happy as I was right now - I could infer it from the fact that he was actually crying out of sheer joy, and our kiss had this sort of... difficult to describe sort of quality, but it just felt happy. It was made out of pure happiness.

I pulled away a bit, and reached on hand out for that book. I opened it to the proper page, putting it in front of Cynder's face. If that didn't give her a good enough clue, I wasn't sure what would. I hoped I wasn't seeming like a jerk, I was just really happy and not necessarily acting normally.

Ah, a book, in the way of me kissing Lee. I was irritated at the book for a moment, but then I actually read the big letters at the top and the first couple of lines. Oh, that explained why... ahah. That information was quite useful, even if I'd completely skipped the scientific-type parts. I gently pushed the book out of my way and kissed Lee again while my hands undid his pants yet again, and then went elsewhere...

OOC: And then nothing inappropriate at all happened, of course.

Well, that had helped escalate me to a different kind of happy, so really all of my bad emotions were cast aside. F*ck you, statistics. F*ck you, Doctor. Thank you, Artemis and Aphrodite.

Well, that definitely seemed to have fixed the morning sickness problem. I felt much, much better now, not to mention ridiculously happy. I started thinking about the baby itself. Was it going to be a boy or a girl? Gods, we needed to come up with a name between now and then... the responsibility part was going to be sort of difficult, but it was worth it for all this happiness.

I put my hand on Cynder's stomach, underneath her shirt, and rubbed it gently. "There's a baby in there." I said, incredulously. My- our child was in there! What would its powers be like? Some shadow travel mixed with some pain-intolerance, maybe? Goodness, it would be such a great fighter, regardless.

"Mhm," I said, with a smile and a nod. I was going to need to be very careful, now. I tended to get hit in the stomach by things an awful lot, and I couldn't afford to let something like that happen when it could hurt our baby. Those words, 'our baby' still sounded so strange in my mind, but I loved thinking them. It gave me a certain feeling of satisfaction, sort of like when I thought of Lee as 'my husband'.

"I love you, Cynder." I whispered, and then moved down to her lower stomach area. "I love you, too." I whispered. Who cares if it couldn't think? It was my baby. And I loved. So it had better come out knowing that.

D'aww... "You're going to be the best father, Lee," I smiled. Of course, we'd have the best kid(s), too. I just wasn't so sure that I'd be the best mother... maybe I should find one of those cheesy 'How to Be a Parent' type books. That was probably a stupid thought, but I was in unknown territory, here.

"You're going to be the best mother, Cynder." I told her, smiling at her reassuringly. She always seemed unsure of that, but it was set in my mind that she would be.

I smiled and leaned against Lee again, feeling a bit more confident in my parenting abilities. I started thinking about all the stuff a baby would need - diapers, clothes, baby food, and such. That probably meant a trip to the city at some point, since I doubted the camp store would have that sort of thing.

I kissed Cynder's forehead and rubbed her belly again. "Our baby is in here." I muttered. I was still kind of in a state os disbelief and absolute wonderment.

"Mhm..." Wait, was I going to to need maternity clothes once my stomach got bigger? Probably. Gods, this was going to be an arduous nine months. It was going to be worth the trouble in the end, though, right? I placed my hand on top on Lee's, smiling.

My eyebrows crumpled as I glanced behind me at Eva, opening the door without looking. Her forhead was bleeding kinda bad and she had gotten some blood on Bunny and Boo. I re-adjusted the straps of my (stolen) backpack in which my trusted bear was napping. "I'll get some Ambros-...i...a? Cynder?" I questioned, eyes wide with innocent confusion as I turned to see my sister and It.

I pulled Cynder into mt lap, putting my other hand on her stomach. I kissed her neck gently. So much happy right now. Happy everywhere. . And then Drake showed up. I sighed.

Aaaand then... my rather inconvenient sister showed up. Well, at least it wasn't Cienna. "Hello, Drake," I said, trailing off in a sort of monotone. It was evident in the way I spoke that I wasn't exactly enthused that she was here.

I walked to the infirmary with Drake, holding a hand to my forehead to stem the bleeding a bit. I was carrying Bunny in the other hand, trying to keep him from getting stained any more. After we got in, either Drake stopped or I walked too fast, and I ran into the back of her. Oof.

Oh, no, my hands moved up Cynder's torso in a way that would possibly make Drake uncomortable. What a pity. She might get annoyed at me. Oh, wait, I didn't really care. "S3x, Drake. Lots and lots of s3x." I said, smiling.

"Lee," I chided, laughing, and pulled his hand down to a place more appropriate for company. Especially when that 'company' was comprised of small-ish children. I knew that he and Drake didn't like each other at all, and felt like I was almost some sort of mediator between them. Lee was my favorite, though, so I was a pretty damn biased mediator. Drake started to make a lot of noise, so I glared at her (not too scary of a glare, but enough to convey idea that she needed to shut up). "Don't yell at him."

I made a face - It had brainwashed her, I was sure of it. Maybe blackmail? Hm... "Tell it- erm him not to molest you!" I retorted, crossing my arms and scowling.

I sort of just walked off to the side to find some ambrosia. Awkward family conversation was awkward.

"It's not molestation if I like it," I replied, glare intensifying - dammit, Drake, shut it or I swear I'll smack you or something - and then went back to smiling because Lee was talking about our baby and it made me all happy n' stuff again.

I opened my mouth to retort once more when the words hit me. Baby. Baby. Baby. Babybabybabybabybaby.

NONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONO! I took a step back with an expression on my face as if i'd just been slapped. She couldn't be having a baby - I barely saw her anyway! I knew she didn't want me, but Cynder at least let me around her, but if she had a baby she wouldn't even let me near her. I'd be replaced. I would be alone again. My eyes began to water slightly, though whtehr it was because I didn't blink from shock or the overwhelming emotions I didn't know.
