The forest

I yell down to the guy, "Call her off Lover Boy or I will have to kill both of you."

I laugh and then say to Altant, "Come on Altant, don't try to kill him. He is apparently scared out of his mind."

"I don't either." I say as I lean forward and kiss Altant softly.

While they are busy I jump down and run for it. I run out of the forest after retrieveing my knife.

I start to feel a little dizzy and then lean against the nearest tree. "S**t! I think I over did it a bit with the lightning and then the flying."

I nod slightly and then sit down.

I fall asleep there with Altant sitting next to me.

I feel the slight pressure of Altant intensify as she falls asleep. I continue to sleep and dream of the kid who had attacked Altant. He had seemed scared and not really that angry. I didn't hold it against him for what he did. I would of been scared too.

I wake up as Altant moves and the pressure on my arm disappears. I open my eyes and see Altant looking around confused. "Is everything alright?" I ask intentionally trying to keep the word 'baby', or any other words like it, out of the question.

I try to hold back a grin but fail epically and so I cover my mouth slightly as I start to say, "Good."

I nod slightly and then say "You amused me for a little while there."

I smile and turn my head just enough to look at her. Wow...she must be getting cuter by the day, I think to myself as I smile lightly blushing as she looks at me.

I hear a howl of a beast. It sounded like a hellhound. I turn my head slightly to glance in the direction of the howl. It was getting closer. I silently pray to Thor to help me in this battle if it came to that. I hug Altant close to me and breathe in softly until I have soothed my fears. I hear the hwl again but this time it is answered by another similar howl that is close by.

[color=#ff0054]My eyes snap up and my face gets the same look it got when the kid attacked us. My eyes narrow into slits as I look around for the cause of the howl.[color]

I shudder as the howl penetrates deep into my subconsciousness. I hug Altant closer to me and wish that we were away from there. I fell the ground drop away from under me and I look up to see me and Altant flying again. I see the hellhound and blast it with enough electricity to send it back a good few feet but not hurt it. I fly to the lake and leave the fear of the beasts behind me.
