"Hi" I said. I picked up a bow and noctched and arrow into place. I shoot and the arrow just a litte outside the bullseye.

i walk in past Jacey and head to an open area of the range. i take position near a target and double tap my armlet.

i yell, "ready!" as i get down below my shield, waiting for her to fire

I slid an arrow out of my holder. I position it. "Aim, Fire," i whisper and let the arrow fly.

i hear a thunk against my shield. i look over it and smile at Jacey

"Did i hit the center?" i ask him.

i look down at the shield. the arrow was sticking out right in the center of the shield. straight out at a ninety degree angle. i held up a sign signaling her that it was a yes

I smile. I pull out another arrow. "Ive been practicing trying to hit the other arrow down the middle. Splitting the first in half," i explain. "READY?" i call out.

i get down below my shield and yell, "ready!"

i heard a tearing noise and another thunk. i get up over the shield and look at the arrows. "goal!" i yell out

"Yes," i say exitedly. I walk over to Louis. I grab the arrow. I pull it out.

"be careful to make sure there arent any splinters" i say to her

I study the shield carefully. Nothing. I look at him. "All clean." i say.

"i didnt mean on my shield. i meant be sure there arent any splinters on the arrows or your hands" i say to her

"Ohh," i laugh. I check the arrow. There is a small sliver i pull it off and drop it. Then i check my hands. Clean.
