I pull back on my string. I let the arrow go.

i hear a thunk against my shield. i look over it. "center!" i yell out

i duck down under the shield again and yell, "ready!"

I launch another arrow.

i hear rough tearing and a thud. "split again!" i yell back after looking over the shield at the arrows

I smile. I run over i yank the arrows out again.

I nod. I check the arrow. Nothing, i check my hands nothing. I nod. again. "All clear," i say.

"okay, one more try for splitting" i say to her as i move my shield. "but this time, im moving farther back" i say to her

I nod. I walk back over to my spot. I pull out an arrow.

i move backwards and set up at a space unoccupied by anything. "ready!" i yell out

Ok, i take a deep breath. I pull back lightly on the string i aim at the target, i let the arrow soar.

i hear a thunk. i hold up a thumbs up sign and bring it down when i feel she's seen it

I sigh with relief. "READY FOR THE SPLIT?" i yell.

i heard a seriously rough tearing. "goal!" i yelled out as i came up. i looked over the shield and saw the arrows. "dont touch them this time!" i yell aslo

I nod. I run over to him. I smile.

i take the second shot arrow out. nothing. i looked at the still openly split first shot arrow. i tried taking it out, but i got pricked. and i got pricked every time i tried taking it out. "splinters in this one" i say.

"i know" i say to her. i take out a rag that was supposed to be testing material. i picked at the arrow, but i still got pricked

"Here, watch out," i say. I gently move his hands out of the way. I pick the arrow out. I hold it up triumphantly.
