The Apartment Building

I pulled Cynder close to me in a tight hug.

I fixed my hair by combing my hands through it. I really didn't want to go to school.

I frowned, too. School? I hadn't been to school since kindergarten.

Robert went and opened the front door. "MOVE IT, F*CKTARDS!"

I frowned even more.. then I slowly drug myself off the couch. Grabbing Keri's arm, pulling him off as well..

I straightend myself and then wrapped my hand around Caspians... Pulling us both out the door.

I started to walk with Keri, trying not to freeze up. Oh god, the thought of all those thoughts at that school.. I swollowed a bit. I was going to die of some weird brain trama disease.

I decided to ask my Dad, "So, what's to stop me from burning this school down?"

Robert smiled slyly. "You'll have no powers within the school, and any magical items will malfunction."Robert said, still smiling.

Yay.

I wont... No. Even though, as much as I hated reading minds, it was a part of me. Going in this school, with absolutly no powers. Now, I'm going to feel like something is missing. I just won't tell anyone.. I smile for a second, they might keep there thoughts buried for a bit:)

Well. I decided to procrastinate, and stood there hugging Lee instead of going out the door.

I gave Drake a small smile to reassure her. "You might want to leave Boo here. The other kids might decide to steal..."

Ariana picked up a cutting board off the counter, and threw it at Drake and Evangeline. "MOVE ALREADY."

I turned slightly, and a thick piece of wood missed my face by half an inch and crash into the wall, breaking off a corner and clattering to the floor. Oh gods.

I walked right next to Keri, gripping his hand. Yeah..

Robert walked back into his apartment and aimed his gun at Cynder and Lee. "Elevator. Now."He said clearly.

I kissed Cynder's cheek and pulled out of the hug. I took her good hand in my mine, and started walking to the door.

Huh. Well, at least you won't get really bad headaches. I thought to Kasi as I walked towards the elevator.

BIC: I jumped back. "THE HELL WOMAN!?"

"Move your a*#es and get into the gods dam# elvator," Ariana growled.

Meep. I shuffled out the door, head down.

... grr. I followed Lee out, resisting the urge to glare at Robert. Or kick him. Or just murder him somehow.

I looked down at Cynder's injured foot. I frowned a little.

I nodded, and walked to the elevator. I pushed the call button.

Robert closed and locked his apartment. He kept his gun out, though, watching the demigods and Ariana.

"It's not too bad," I muttered to Lee. Well, it didn't feel too bad, though it probably would leave me writhing in pain on the ground or something without his intervention. My foot was probably damaged horribly inside. But I could walk. So, eh...

Ariana glared at Robert, and then walked down the hall to the elevator. She pressed the down button, and crossed her arms as she waited for the doors to open.

I followed hesitantly after Crazy Lady, worried that she might pick up some random object and chuck it at me.

I stood next to Keri, biting my lip in frustration. I felt it crack a little bit, feeling blood flow out. Great, What else have the gods got for my face to become even more disfigured?

On Hephaestus TV...

The Olympians sat clustered around their television in pajamas, eating popcorn by the mouthful. Zeus guffawed, and then nearly chocked on the kernels. Hera started writing on a pile of sticky notes.
"We need more ways to cause Kasi pain!" she announced.
Athena sighed, and began to protest before Ares cut her off. "CUT OFF HER HEAD!" he screamed.
Poseidon shook his head. "No, no. I hate to agree with Athena, but-"
"Start another catfight!" Apollo cheered. "MAKE THEM ALL BATTLE LIKE IT'S THE TROJAN WAR AGAIN!"
Aphrodite threw her pillow at Apollo. "You're so immature.
"Says the goddess who throws pillows," muttered the sun god as he rubbed his sore face. Aphrodite apparently slept on a brick pillow.

I froze in place for a second. "... F*%#."

Ariana glared at the elevator, wishing it would move faster.

I stood there uncomfortably...
