The Apartment Building

I got in my mothers car... I'm ready for the worst day of my suckish life.

I sighed getting in Roberts car.

Ariana glanced in the rearview mirror. "Is everyone in the car? I'd hate to accidentally run one of you over," she said with obvious sarcasm.

I sat down beside Cynder and smiled thinly at her.

I sat with Cienna and grabbed her hand.

I got into the car next to Kasi. .

Robert got in his car and started the engine.

"huh..." I sighed letting a lot of air out. I still felt like Sh't.

I smiled at Keri, showing a bit of kindness in my heart. Just the small bit that was there only for Keri.

I managed a half-hearted smile back at Lee, and leaned againt him.

Ariana shrugged, and started to back up the car. Maybe if she was lucky, she'd 'accidentally' run over Robert's sh*#ty vehicle...

Blegh. It was squished in here...

I wrapped my arm around Cynder.

I interlaced our fingers.

I smiled back at Kasi, and grabed her hand.

Robert rolled his eyes as he dodged Ariana's car.

I Squeezed Keri's hand tightly.

I loved the feeling that Caspian was there for me. It just made me feel good!

"I wish we were back at the cabin..." I muttered to Lee. I closed my eyes, and for a moment I could almost imagine we were safe and sound back at camp, taking an afternoon nap or something. Almost... but the pain in my foot and the noise of the car and the city were too real. Gah.

Ariana backed the car into the driving lane of the parking garage, and then shifted the car out of reverse and headed out into the city streets.

I entertained myself by picking at a loose thread on my skirt. But then a thought came to me, and I stopped. "Drake," I began, "what'll we do if some bigger kids pick on us? Judging by the fact that the uniforms are all the same, it's a grades K-12 school." Maybe regular teenagers we could run away from, or even fight off, but something told me that there wouldn't be anything normal about this school...

I nodded. "Me too."I whispered back.

I gave Cienna a small smile.

I squeezed Kasi's hand in return.

Robert followed Ariana closely.

ooc:Awkward ending of this topic is awkward. .awkward revival of it is even more so.

BIC:I pulled the Hummer up to a parking spot in the dark of the car garage and got out. I went to the back seat and slid one of the knives into my belt, and but the little revolver in my pocket. I grabbed the shot gun, and walked over to Cynder's door and opened it for her.

OOC: Lolyup random ending because yeah. And NEW BEGINNING YAY.

BIC: It was probably around five or six-ish in the afternoon, now, and the skies were growing darker. I took one of the pistols from the back seat, as well as the remaining knife. Once Lee had opened the door, I thanked him with a smile, and added the knife to my belt. I supposed I'd have to hold on to the pistol, though.

Justin Greenfield, a rather creepy man in his late thirties and in desperate need of a good shave watched the two teenagers from the darkness of a corner, hidden partially behind a truck. Being a creeper, he was rather, well, creepy, and tended to stalk people. Especially young women. He thought that the girl over there looked familiar, somehow, and made the decision to follow the two kids. Despite the fact that they were plainly carrying guns, Justin - being a very overconfident and somewhat rash man - thought that he could take the both of them on unarmed.

The elevator opened, and it was, thankfully, empty. I walked inside, and waited for Lee, finger hovering over the button for floor thirteen.

Justin the creeper followed the two as stealthily as he possibly could. Despite being rather tall, he was thin, and could effectively hide behind many things. He was doing pretty well until the couple turned a corner and stood waiting for the elevator. It was quite possible to lose them if he didn't know what floor they were headed to. So he decided to play it off, and walk down to the elevator like he was just a normal person. By the time he got there, the door had opened, so he just went inside as well. He peeked over at the floor selection. The girl was going for floor thirteen, eh? Justin used to know someone on that floor. "Oh, that's my floor as well," he remarked with an unsettling grin. My, she was a pretty thing... very familiar, somehow, but he couldn't place how he knew her.

I just ignored the man who walked in at first, but I realized that I recognized him from somewhere. I wasn't sure where, but for some reason, I felt extremely, painfully uncomfortable around him. I took half a step towards the corner furthest away from the guy.

Justin looked at the teenage boy, who was admittedly a bit scary, especially since he was carrying a gun. Guns could be rather intimidating. But confident creeper was confident, and decided to shrug off the fact that this kid looked like he wanted to shoot Justin in the face. "Careful with your little toys, son," he laughed, and would have ruffled the kid's hair or something equally condescending if he wasn't quite so intimidating. As it was, he just shifted a bit closer to the girl. "So, is this cute little girl your sister?" he asked, and gestured to said 'cute little girl'.

This creep was insufferable. It'd be rather easy to just kill him, but I figured that if we caused a scene here, my mother would guess what we were here for. I moved so that Lee was directly between me and the man, and felt a hell of a lot safer. I still wasn't sure where I'd seen this person before, but something told me that our encounter had not been a good one.
