I followed my brother into the infirmary, and looked around. Gods, there was a lot of blood. On the floor, on the walls, even a few splatters on the ceiling. How in Pluto's name did they get blood on the CEILING? Did no one bother to clean up around here? Ew. Disgusting Greeks...

I looked at the ceiling. "That's. .odd. "I said. I started looking around. The stuff was labeled in Greek. I growled a bit. I knew Greek, I just didn't like using it.

I opened a cupboard and looked inside. There were a lot of tupperware containers, all labeled something in Greek. It looked a bit like 'ambrosia', but it was hard to tell. Greek looked like a horrible, mutilated, primitive version of Latin, and my ADHDness made it all the more difficult to decipher their crappy alphabet.

I found the drawer about burn treatment. It was empty. I groaned.

I glanced at Malum. "Is too much to just eat ambrosia for?" I wasn't sure how extensive his burns were, but it looked pretty bad from here. As for my own slight burn, I thought I'd leave it as it was. It'd make an interesting scar in a week or so.

"Good idea," I admitted, and then opened another cupboard. This one was full of linen bandages. I gave up on looking through cupboards, and opened a drawer that was beneath the counter, which was under the cupboards. In the drawer, there were thermos-style white bottles. They appeared to be labeled "NECTAR", but it just as easily could have been "NECKTIE". I doubted it was the latter, though, for some reason.

I grabbed an empty cup and put a bit of water in it, performing a simple chemistry dilution equation in my head. I walked over to where Kako was.

I picked up one of the bottles that might be full of neckties, and held it over for Malum to take. "I'm pretty sure this says 'nectar', but Greek is dam# confusing."

I rolled my eyes back at him. "Well if you're so smart, why didn't you just find it, first?" In retrospect, it was stupid of my to consider that it said 'neckties'. Why would there even BE neckties in an infirmary? I absentmindedly opened another drawer, only to find that it was full of... neckties. MY GODS.

BIC: I closed the drawer of neckties, slightly disturbed. The thought occured to me that the Greeks might be stronger than we thought, but I quickly dismissed it. It was an unworthy thought. These people were just scum.

I slowly cleansed my chest, dipping and wiping until the nectar was gone.

While Malum was busy healing himself, I looked around through the assorted drawers and cupboards and whatnot. There were several filled with ambrosia, some of which I took and stuck in my pocket, linen bandaged, stick-on band-aids, ice packs, heat packs, and other basic demigod medical necessities. There were some other, stranger things, as well. The neckties, for instance. One cupboard was full of glass vials, which contained a thick, red substance that I assumed to be blood. For blood transfusions, maybe?

I sighed in relief. The pain was gone. There was still a bit of burn on my arm, but that would make an intersting scar, I was sure.

Eh, whatever. I shut the cupboard door, and glanced back at Malum. "Is your little owie all better yet?"
