(Well Ranma and I were thinking that maybe Destery could start liking Ryouga and Luke starts liking Destery and Ryouga's just like meh and then Luke gets cancer like we planned and like well that's all we got Razz

Lukas shrugged. "Yeah, it's not like we're obligated to go anywhere," he smiled, looking at the two. Destery was really pretty... wait, what the heck? He was acting stupid, and that's not the sort of thing he should be thinking about right now.

She walks back in, grabs her favorite book, puts her ear buds in, and flops down on a bean bag, tears still streaming down her face.

Luke followed her in, kneeling down next to her bean bag. "I'm sorry, Des," he said, watching her carefully. He hadn't called her that before, but now he just did for no reason in particular.

Destery smiled a little bit, surprised someone besides her mom and best friend had called her Des, then shook her head. "You shouldn't be sorry, I'm sure he's somewhere better, now...

Luke put on a smile, but glanced back at Destery for a minute. He watched her, still not sure if she was okay, but then turned back to the boy. "What's your name?" he asked him softly.
