Blowing off some steam... (PRIVATE: Anime)

"I was thinking along the lines of shenanigans instead of scandalous. But, not that I had allot of clothing to begin with." Salone said digging around in the bag on the floor and she pulled out a massive t-shirt. "I would rather not look like I was wearing a circus tent, thanks."
After some more digging she found a pale purpal t-shirt, jeans, and a pair of flip flops. She pulled the pale purpal t-shirt on over her black tank top and walked into the bathroom to put on Danni's jeans.
Returning she looked at him, "She walked in on us? I do not remember that, then again. I can only really remember is walking into the hotel and everything goes kinda sketchy. I remember bits and pieces and I remember-" Salone broke off her face turning pink. "Oh my- sweet Isis."
At that moment Danni walked in saving Salone from a long embarrassing conversation with Riley. "Your bags packed?"
Danni asked Riley glancing at Salone's pink face and turned back to Riley arching an eyebrow.

Salone managed to reduce the blush significantly when they had walked out of the hotel. She glanced around and looked up at the building, figure of a man sat there, his legs dangling over the edge of the roof. Salone strained her ears and caught the faint sound of guitar music. She turned the box she was holding in her hands. The man with dark blonde brown hair waved a hand in farewell, Salone turned around and looked to see how far behind she had fallen. Only a few steps, she turned back around and Fabian Black had vanished. Salone turned back around catching up to Riley, "This is truly a strange city. I wonder if they have dragons, could you be responsible then?"
Her lips curved up in a small smile, "Then again there is the small issue of your sports car addiction as well as you ability to spend money quickly." She got into the back of the car without another word.
After they had reached the airport and Riley had gone a board Salone held Danielle back, "Tell me what was he after?"
Danni looked at her and said one word, "Redemption."
Before getting on the plane after Riley. Salone looked around one more time at the city before getting on the jet.

Riley walked out of the hotel with Salone and Danielle, carrying his bags to the car. He was about to turn to Salone and say something, but when he looked over, she wasn't there. Panic sunk into his chest. She wouldn't have just walked away, would she? How hadn't he noticed? He took a breath and looked behind him and sure enough there she was, walking over towards him.

"You scared me half to death, there," Riley admitted as she returned to his side, laughing lightly. It was so stupid. He wasn't one to be possessive over people, but when she'd been kidnapped literally right off of his front lawn just five or so days ago and they were still in Italy, where her captors had taken her, he had reason to be worried when she suddenly disappeared from his side. He listened to her as she spoke, shoving his bags in the trunk of the vehicle before opening her door for her.

"Dragons? Like, fairytale dragons?" he asked once he got into the driver's seat. "How would they make me irresponsible? But don't blame me for the money thing, it's not my fault that the FBI wanted us to portray an obnoxious, filthy rich couple. And the car is nice, but I don't think I'd want to drive it on a daily basis, and I wouldn't say that I'm obsessed. Too much staring," he defended himself, proceeding to drive to the airport. Upon arrival, he handed off all of their bags to the service who would load them and boarded, leaving Salone and Danielle alone since they seemed to want to talk or something. He popped open a can of Sprite and sat waiting for them on one of the couches. He could get used to flying on a private jet.

((Fabian is a very... interesting character.))

Salone rolled her eyes at his defense, "But you wouldn't say no to owning one now would you?"
The blonde girl responded. "You do drool over expensive things though." She muttered at his reaction in the jet and how comfortable he was in it. "As for the dragons, I was talking Greek dragons. They are dragged all over history."

Danni nodded from her seat holding a book in her hands, " There are several diffrent kinds Dracones, the marine Cetea, the fire-breathing Chimaera and the she-monster Dracaenae. Personally, I think the Chimera should be it's own species. Not a dragon and not all of the Greek dragons are mean."

Salone shrugged, "There is Apep, also known as one of Apophis' other forms in Egyptian mythology. Often he is depicted as a serpent dragon battling Ra." She started coughing again and Danni watched her, stamping the worried expression on her face.

Salone eventual stopped coughing and massaged her ribs. Then she waited for Riley to return before she explained the dragons, "When a hero has a damsel in distress, there is usually a dragon or a monster of some sort involved. Generally, a Hero can't help showing off. Especially when they are OCD. In a way that would make them irresponsible."
Danni couldn't help but bust up laughing, "True that. Remember that Russian guy we met last year?"
"How could I forget?" She put on a ridiculouse accent. "Am I dead cause you look like an angel." She snorted. "Of course, a swearing redheaded angel with a sword in her hand and a hydra head in the other."
Danni chuckled, "Last time I ever date a guy who uses cheesy pick up lines."

Salone shook her head and just grinned.

"What I am getting at, Mr. Attractive Flight Attendant."
Danni made a slight gagging noise, "Is that you would not be able to resist saving a damsel in distress, thus making you irresponsible."
Salone stood, walked over, picked up a mug, and put a herbal tea bag in the mug. Then she squeezed in next to Riley leaning her head on his shoulder, "I'm fine."
She said quietly, but her hand betrayed her as she pressed a hand to her side.
Danni got up and walked out of the room. She came back with a massive hershey's bar and she opened it.

"But you couldn't resist showing off during the rescuing, that is the issue. Not the fact you could save the girl." Salone answered sweetly, she took a sip of the tea and she felt the liquid warm her chest. Reaching the spots that had been cold since the cellar of the Angel Hospital. She shook her head at his question. Riley slid his arm around her waist, tracing patterns on her side. It was pleasantly distracting.
Then Riley made the comment about the chocolate, Danni looked at Riley in pure fury and a look of panic flashed across Salone's face. Danni's hand was a blur and there was a thud as Danni's dagger embedded itself several inches above his head. Then she turned on her heal and walked out of the room, leaving a dagger quivering in her wake. Salone reached up and pulled the dagger out of the wall. She turned the stiletto over in her fingers.
"Riley, Chocolate is Danni's coping food. It honestly isn't a good thing when she eats it. Last night, shortly after you went to bed. Danni got a call. Her partner Ron was killed in action. She's been trying to be pleasant and hide the fact she is mourning. Didn't you look into her eyes this morning?"
All this morning Danni's pale blue eyes had been haunted.
"He had a little girl." Salone's throat felt tight.

((Did you just make up Ron right now, or was this an actual plotline? xD Just curious!))

As soon as Riley finished his comment and he saw the look that passed over Danielle's features, he knew he'd said something very wrong... he just didn't know what. He gasped in surprised as she chucked her dagger at him-or, rather, above him- and ducked down reflexively as it embedded itself in the wall. "Wha-?!" he began, so lost, once she'd left the room, cutting off when Salone began to explain softly.

"Oh," was all he could say as she finished speaking, feeling incredibly stupid... though of course he couldn't have known about this beforehand, and it was an honest mistake, though he probably should have known better than to tease Danielle by now. "I didn't think-" he cut himself off, trying to remember her appearance this morning. She had seemed a little distant, her eyes glazed and filled with what could have been grief or nerves, but Riley had figured that was all an effect of their situation, what was going on and what had gone on the night before. He lowered his voice before speaking to Salone. "Her partner... not a romantic partner, right?" he asked softly, assuming not because Salone had mentioned his daughter. Guilt settled in, and he looked down at the table, his eyes tracing the patterns in the laminated fake wood. He would go apologize to her, but he figured that would only make things worse.

"I didn't know, though. I feel awful," he whispered softly. "I can't think of anything I can do to help, though. Maybe bring her her chocolate and run the risk of making her more upset?" Riley frowned, his fingers having stopped tracing their patterns.

"Did you know him?" he asked her, as she seemed perturbed.

((I had created him as just an idea and he just kind of formed from that. So I used it to my advantage so Danni terrify Riley again. xP ))

Salone threw the dagger across the room and it vanished into thin air.
"Hey, It's working again." She whispered, surprised. Honestly, she had thought her powers had vanished. She still couldn't hear the dead but if she strained there were faint whispers. "No, they weren't involved like that. It's just difficult for her because he was like her brother. He got married a year and a half ago, right after-" she motioned to her face. "He didn't stare like every body, he laughed and said, 'I am guessing you left who ever did it in worse shape.' I guess I did. " She finished her tea and rested her head on his shoulder. "Just leave her be, she doesn't like pity. She likes her space and doesn't like to be bugged when she is in a mood. She is also still really peeved about her shoulder. That and she is part hermit, she likes to be left alone."

"Personally, I don't like Romans to many feathers and they are harder to hug than a porcupine." Salone said, then she started coughing again. Pain lanced through her stomach and she covered her hand with her mouth. When she stopped coughing Salone lowered her hand. Looking down she saw it was dyed red... blood... Panic flashed in her eyes. The blood pooled in her palm then rolled down her wrist, arm, and then dripped off of her elbow.
"Riley," She whispered her whole body trembling.

"My chest, It hurts to breath." She started coughing again. Pain again, Danni walked in at took one look at her. Salone's pale face and her wide eyes.
"Riley, She's going to pass out!"
Salone slipped forward and she did just that. Running forward, Danni got on her knee's and began to check her vitals. Her pulse was erratic and all over the place. Secretly, Danni hoped it was because Riley and Salone had another snogging session. But she doubted it. She stood and ran into the other room, grabbing the first aid kit. When she returned, she was hold a shot and was filling it with some golden liquid. Without Riley's consent she jammed it into Salone's arm, right into her vein. Then she closed her eyes and began muttering in Greek.

"The nectar will come out were ever the blood is coming out, thus healing it. Hopefully clearing out her blood stream and she'll be good to go."
Then Salone opened her eyes just as Danni brushed Riley off.
"Lie down or something?" She asked her voice cracking. "I'm already on the floor."
She rolled over to lay flat on her back and then ran a hand over her face. Danni couldn't help but smile. She helped Salone to sit up and she put her back on the couch she had been sitting on. Danni walked over to the counted and opened the little fridge. Suffering from teenage hunger is a very serious illness after all.

Salone seemed to be reading Riley's mind.
"Are we there yet?" She asked.
Danni shook her head, "Not for another ten hours. We could have a movie marathon though." She walked over, pulling open a drawer, pulled out at least twenty dvds.
"What one?" She asked dumping them all in Salone's lap. Then she went and retrieved the left over pizza and pop from the fridge. The Dvds ranged from Master of Disguise to Harry Potter. Salone picked one out and that was how they spent the rest of their trip home, watching goofy movies, wrapped in blankets, and munching food.

Riley watched movies with the two of them, falling asleep a couple times for brief periods, even though he wasn't all that tired. It was pretty fun, actually, and the ten hours it took them to get home actually didn't seem all that long in the scheme of things. Once the plane landed, Riley stood, stretching his limbs and picking a few things up and throwing them in anticipation of leaving, even though there was probably a maid who'd do that before the plane was used again. "You guys ready?" he asked, looking over to Salone and Danielle.

Salone had fallen asleep during the last few movies and was laying curled up on her pillow pet
when they landed. Danni stood and crossed to the window, her blue eyes taking in everything. The landing strip, people, a black sedan that was waiting for them. It felt as if they had been hurtling towards this point for years and suddenly everything had come to a screeching halt and they were flying through the air. When Riley asked her if she was ready Danni nodded and adjusted her sling. Then she moved over to Salone.
"Up," She said prodding Salone with her foot.
Salone opened her eyes and stretched.

Salone yawned again and grumbled something about Riley spiking her tea. She meant it in a joking manner of course but she did smack him the the pillow pet. Danni was talking to the FBI agent outside, She itched a spot behind her ear and then made a face.
After she got into the car Salone asked, "What did the Suite want?"
Danni looked at her seriously, "If I told you I'd have to kill you."
Salone took her word for it, "I'd prefer to live a few more days, thanks."
Danni grinned and relaxed in her seat as the car pulled away. On the drive back, Salone used Riley as a pillow and she fell asleep.
