"Well, that's... that's a problem," he said with a mild frown. "You won't be able to eat very much of this stuff..." he broke off a smallish chunk of ambrosia, and analyzed it carefully. He didn't want to overestimate her capacity withstand the effects of the stuff and cause her to burn up. "You should probably lie down, if you can."

Could Drake lie down? It would probably hurt a lot if she tried. "Why?"

"It might take a while for her to heal, and it'd be tiring to stand up for a few hours, especially while in pain."

Drake grimaced again, wondering whether or not she should argue before inclining her head slightly and hobbling over to the infirmary bed. Her chest burned but she ignored it as best as she could. Wasn't like she hadn't had worse before. She let out a slight sigh of relief when she sat down, leaning back against the wall.

Ezrah appeared directly beside a bed, and had landed just right so that the pathetic injured guy ended up on a bed. He looked around and saw a ragtag little group. One older boy who looked like he liged on the streets and two younger girls, probably nine or ten, standing with him. One girl keot her hair over her face, but Ezrah could see that it was to cover up an eyepatch. If she was trying to hide it,it wasn't for a game. The other girl looked vaguely familiar, as if Ezrah had seen the girl's mother or sibling at some point. The most noticabke fact, though, was that she was holding on to her ribs, likely because they were broken. Ezrah waved nonchalantly before looking for the nectar.

Evangeline was completely startled by someone else randomly appearing with a limp body, and flinched noticeably. Damn these shadow-travelers and their... their popping up in random places. It was terrifying to think that one could just pop up out of nowhere virtually anywhere like that. Ugh!

Carmen held the ambrosia out to the injured girl, glancing at the newcomers as he did so. People appearing out of nowhere didn't bother him, though the other kid seemed to be quite perturbed about it. What did bother him was the fact that the unconscious guy in pink seemed to be covered in vomit and had blood- oh, gods. He winced.

Drake let out a slight startled noise as someone appeared - and owholycrap not a good idea. She gingerly took the ambrosia from sharkbait (ooh-ha-ha) and ate a piece, letting out and audible sigh of relief as the pain alleviated slightly. Thank the gods for ambrosia. Bolstered, she glanced at the newcomers. Some wierdo dude and- Lee?! Her eyes widened in alarm before she realized that it wasn't Lee, it was- "Fruity dude!"

Ezrah turned when one of the girls yelled fruity dude, wondering if he was being addressed. However, the girl seemed to be staring at the guy on the bed. Ezrah had to admit the name fit the infirm guy well. He turned back to the cupboards and pulled out a bottle of nectar. He let a few drops fall down into the mouth of the dude, hoping this would work. His hospitality did not go to the point where he'd try to feed him or something. He got the guy to thd infirmary; that was good enough.

A few drops of nectar rolled down Caspian's throat, and he slowly began to regain consciousness. This was, of course, a new kind of torture. He was in unbelievable amounts of pain, mainly in his groin region. His eyes opened, and he groaned very loudly. Great, someone had woken him up. Fannnntastic.

Evangeline sighed. Fruity dude. This was not a good thing. What was wrong with him, anyways? He was really smelly. Did he puke on himself?

Carmen walked over to the cot-bed-thingadooer that the guy in pink was laying on, feeling very concerned. He had to be in an awful lot of pain. "What, uh, happened to him?" he asked the dude who had shadow-traveled the both of them there. At least, he assumed it was shadow-travel. It could have been some other form of teleportation.

Drake leaned further against the wall, feeling oddly relaxed as the pain began to fade to a mild throbbing. Fruity-dude was all red around his uh, no-no area. Didn't that mean something? She coulda sworn the orphanage lady had mentioned it once. A comma or 'postrophe... oh! "Fruity-dude, are you on your period?"

Ezrah shrugged. "I have no idea. I just saw him like this behind ghe Aphrodite cabin." He said, and laughed at what one of the girls had asked. She'd asked the guy if he was on his period. Priceless. Ezray realized these girls must have seen the guy before, and to satiate his curiosity, asked, "Who is he, exactly?" He directed the question to the one with one eye, as she seemed to be more articulate.

Caspian groaned. He knew that voice, but he didn't know why. Was it his brother's girlfriend or something? He didn't care. "I'm not on my f*cking period, I got kicked in the balls, you dumbshit." He groaned and loked over. Oh, it was... Drew? Diane? He had no idea what her nane was.

"He's... um..." Evangeline tried to think of the dude's name, but couldn't recall it. "Her... uncle?" she said, gesturing at Drake. Yeah, uncle was it. Drake's sister's husband's brother.

Carmen was mildly concerned about guy-in-pink-shirt using that kind of language in front of little kids. But he was very concerned about the fact that there was apparently someone at camp who could kick guys in that place hard enough to cause so much bleeding. "Why?" he asked, still cringing slightly.

Drake grimaced. "He is not my uncle!" She protested vehemently. "Uncle's are dad's brothers or somethin'. He's my, uh, sister's thin- er, husband's brother. And he's very fruity." She explained, breath hitching as a random spike of pain was felt in her chest cavity. Urk.

Ezrah nodded at the girl's response, but what the guy said next was more than answer enough. He was curious for his answer to the homeless guy's question, so he paid attention. He also tried to place where he'd seen these people before. He was sure he had. He needed to start remembering people, so that they would think he was nice for remembering their names amd other such things.

Caspian growled again. He woukd walk out right now if he could, but he felt like doing so would rip a giant tear between his legs. So he told them, "I was flirting with a girl and she thought I was being an asshole, so she punched me in the gut, which I wasn't expecting. She's a girl, you know? And then while I'm down she does that f*cking swivel kick right into my balls. "

Ezrah was resisting the impulse of summoning a hellhound. He had to be polite...

Oh. Well, that explained it.

Evangeline flushed slightly, embarrassed for getting something wrong. One couldn't blame her, though. She'd had a rough day. "Yeah, well, whatever. In any case, he's a f#cking asshole and you should have left him to die," she stated, addressing tall mildly frightening boy number two in the end. The new one, that is, not the one who looked like a crazy homeless man.

Why was that little girl using language like that? She couldn't be older than eight or nine. Whatever, that didn't really matter right now. What mattered was that Carmen didn't exactly appreciate it when guys took flirting with the ladies too far, which made sense considering he had two little sisters out there somewhere. What if some creep... no, he didn't want to think about that. He crossed his arms and glared heavily at the guy in pink. "What were you doing that made her react violently?"

Drake grimaced, narrowing her eyes. She didn't want Eva anywhere near the creepo. Glancing towards her friend, she reached out, fingertips brushing the material of the girls shirt.

Ezrah moved to stand next to the homeless dude, and crossed his arms. "You're talking to a demititan, so answer carefully." He said, looking down at the guy maliciously. Well, one might argue that, with solid black eyes, every look from Ezrah was malicious, but this one was exceptionally so.

Caspian rolled his eyes. "Nothing. I just said she had a nice body and she flipped out." He said, and moved back on the bed. These people looked like they were going to put him back into unconsciousness.

Evangeline felt a hand pulling at her shirt, so she turned towards Drake. "Are you feeling better yet?"

Carmen looked at the other guy, the one with black eyes, quizzically. How did he know that Carmen was a demititan? Or was he referring to himself? The latter was more likely. "Two, actually, I believe. And at least one of them is going to cave your skull in if you don't personally apologize to her.

Drake grinned weakly, shrugging and ohhoylcrapfvckthathurtssomuch- "Better. The ambrosia helped a lot." She said, clenching her fists in the fabric and tugging slightly. "Sit by me?" She asked.

Caspian sighed. Obviously, he was going to agree to doing this or have to fight two demititans. So he figured he woukd give the girl a stupid apoligy or whatever. "Yeah, fine. I'll apologize." He said, and closed his eyes. "Will you just let me sleep?" He asked. He wasn't tired, but he did want them to leave him alone.

Ezrh wasn't sure if this guy woukd actualky follow through with all of this, but didn't want to be bothered to watch him at the moment. Instead, he decided he'd try this polite thing. "Ezrah, son of Erebus." He introduced himself, mainly to the honeless guy, but addressing the two girls at the same time.

Yeah, sure, why not? Evangeline sat down next to Drake, careful not to jostle her friend. At least not too much. Didn't want to hurt her any more than she was hurting already.

Pink guy probably wasn't intending to actually go through with it, but Carmen could probably ask around in a day or two and locate the victim, then investigate further. But for now, the kid could lie there in pain on the cot. He was being talked to now, so he should probably respond in kind. "I'm Carmen Steele, son of Nyx."

Wait, what did he say his surname was?

Drake leaned slightly against Eva, shoulder to shoulder, and relaxed at the contact. It was slowly dawning in her that they'd almost been snake food, and better yet, had survived. And then came the guilt, because she couldn't protect her. If shark bait hadn't shown up they'd have been dead and it would've been all her fault- wait. "Your last name is Steele?"

If Ezrah was being impolite, he woukd have made a joke about Carmen being a feminine name. Instead, he restrained himself. He didn't know if Nyx and Erebus got along, but theur domains were very similar. He supposed he could relate with this guy, then. However, thus far he didn't know whether Carmen was good in a fight. This would be useful to know, but hard information to ascertain. He lookdd over at the little girls. One of them looked shocked about something, and the other looked mildly in pain, but she was doing welk to hide it. Ezrah was about to ask them for their names when the injured on asked about Carmen's last name. Maybe that was what the pirate one was surprised over. Ezrah tried to see if they had similar characteristics, as if theyvwere related, but they both seemed to be hiding their faces.

"Yeah, why?" Carmen asked the injured girl, wondering why this was significant. Then it occurred to him that she might know someone with his surname. Maybe even... maybe even that black-haired girl sitting next to her? He looked at the child carefully, looking for resemblances. Black hair, of course, light skin, the same gray eyes... "What's your name?" he asked her.

Evangeline didn't answer him, instead shooting back a question of her own. She was going to rapid-fire these things at him, to keep there from being time to think of a lie. It could be a trick of some sort. "How old are you?"

Carmen blinked once. "Nineteen."

"When is your birthday?"

"February 20th.

"How many sisters do you have?"

"Two...?

Drake looked on in confusion, head tilted slightly as she watched the rapidfire questioning going on. What was Eva doing? Yeah, they had the same name, but it wasn't like she had a brother. Right? She would've told Drake if she had, of course. Yeah, of course. Maybe it was just a- a strange similarity that made her curious. Because she couldn't have a brother who was a demititan of all things and a billion times stronger than Drake. Of course not. Right.

Ezrah watched, highly interested. Siblings seperated at birth? It happened a lot, actually, especially around this camp. Of course, he wasn't yet sure they were siblings. There'd been no stating of the girl's name followed by excited screaming and hugging... gross. But stilk, those were generally the signs that people long separated had finally found each other.

OOC: Just fyi, my last class today ends at 4:45 and then it'll take like 2 hours for me to get home. So don't expect me to be on for a while yo.

Carmen wasn't stupid. These questions were very specific, and the little girl wouldn't be asking them if she didn't at the very least know who his youngest sister was. And considering her appearance - slightly almond-shaped eye(s?), angled jawline, straight nose - it was seeming more and more likely that they were related on the mortal side. He walked closer and bent down slightly so they were on the same eye level. "Is your name Evangeline?"

Should she answer? It could still be a trick. Why someone would bother going through an elaborate ruse like this, though? Could it be something to do with Drake or her sister, like an effort to get close to them? Lots of people wanted Drake's sister to die, didn't they? It seemed like a stupid plan, but it could be that... no, this guy didn't look quite stupid enough to try such a dumb ruse. "... yes."
