My eyebrows narrow into an angry glare as I shoot another shot. I miss, but I didn't pay attention to that. I turn to Ace. "That seriously sucks. You deserve to get into the NBA, and you can't because you're a demigod and monsters are stupid like that!!!"

I raise my eyebrows. "Wow, they're pretty famous people. How come THEY never got attacked by monsters?" I pick up another basketball and shoot it at the hoop. It makes it in with a clean swish.

I think it over. Then I frown. "Well..remember? Amelia Earhart was flying? And she never came back? That was probably some kind of flying creature." I try another sky hook. It goes in.

I shoot a basketball at the hoop, and shrug. "I want to work in the forges, I guess. Anything that involves building things, that's what I want to do. But I haven't really thought about it specifically yet."
