Felix sighed and gestured his hand out towards Krystine. "You want to head over to the cabins now? You look a little tired yourself.." He stated, a subtle yawn followed soon afterwards. He wasn't a hundred percent ready to go to sleep, maybe after he had taken her to her cabin, he would go off to the arena to exercise a little. He wasn't the biggest enthusiast for training, but he knew if he wanted to still be a fearful opponent, regular visits to the arena were probably in order.

Krystine nodded in agreement. "Let's go, then", she said, and then decided that it would be permissible if they were to hold hands or something cute like that on the way there. So she reached for Felix's hand, feeling semi-awkward. Hopefully she wouldn't turn red again, that much blushing was surely a sign of some kind of health disorder.

Felix puffed out a gust of air and muttered, "Alright.." before slowly making his way towards the Mess Hall's exit. Perhaps some sword fighting can get his mind of any form of gushy romantic thoughts, and other sorts of thoughts... Maybe he can imagine the dummy as his bastard brother and go to town with it. He decided that probably wouldn't work, as he'd probably end up breaking down and hugging the damn thing, and that would be quite the scene for a camper to walk in on.

Ah, yes, hand holding. Cute, but not mushy enough to cause rampant flushing. The perfect solution to the problem. Wait, oops, Felix was walking already, and Krystine was still standing still. She took a few quick steps to catch up with him, and then slowed down to a regular pace as they exited the mess hall.

Luckily, the mad scientist and Igor were gone by the time Carmen showed up very suddenly in the shade over where the food was being served. Not that he knew about that. He walked out of the shade with a slight reluctance -- it was bright and sunny out here -- and sat at the nearest table, waiting. And then he thought about how dumb it had been to just poof away from the lake like that. Since he was alone, he could facepalm and sigh at himself without looking dumb in front of anyone. And he did so. With enthusiasm.

Annalise walked up to the mess hall, hair back into a messy bun, bands drying over her brow. She was stretching her arm out, looking content. The bridge of her nose was red, as if she was developing a sunburn, but she didn't really notice. She'd always been fairly fair-skinned. Annie noticed Carmen sitting at a table - hitting himself? She stopped about ten feet away, raising an eyebrow.

Carmen looked up from his facepalming and... ANNIE WAS RIGHT THERE, FRICKIN' HECK. How did she show up so suddenly? Maybe she'd shadow-traveled. She'd said she could do that, yeah? Whatever, it wasn't exceptionally important. What was important was the fact that he'd just utterly embarrassed himself again. Great. Fantastic. "I was just... uh..." Uh what?

Annalise continued giving him the raised-eyebrow expression for a moment before grinning, a hand on her hip. "Why are you hitting yourself?" She teased in a psuedo-mocking tone, lips quirked. Gah, he was adorable, she swore. Like a nervous puppy. Well, one that didn't pee everywhere.

Might as well be honest. "Because I'm really stupid. But whatever, it's food time." He stood up, and noticed that he wasn't actually all that much taller than Annalise. Being six feet tall, he was pretty used to towering over most people, especially girls. But there was about three inches between their heights at most. Carmen looked over towards the food line after realizing that he was staring a little. Ugh, he couldn't do anything right. What were they serving today?

Annalise stared up at Carmen for a moment, eating his eyes, before turning away and sniffing the air. Was that- "Is that fried chicken?" She questioned lightly, tilting her head. Oh if it was she was pigging out - all she'd eaten for two months was insanely healthy food. Not that that was horrible, but she was used to McDonald's at least once a week with Ray, so salads and lean meat constantly was just - weird.

Ezrah appeared in the dining hall right where the foid was, ready to eat. He coukd create his own food, but it was super particular and usually ended uo tasting odd. It was easier to get food. So he chose some good food. Ribs, roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, and a few rolls. He sat down at a table near the edge of the mess hall, and then he noticed Carmen. The dude was with a girl, which kind of surprised him. She was tall and redheaded, and seemed like a pretty up-beat looking person. Not someone he expecred to hang out with a child of Nyx, honestly. Hmm... he decided etiquette dictated he not interruot their meal, so he began eating, watching the other two people.

Carmen nodded, it definitely smelled like chicken over there. He started to make a gesture in that direction, and was going to say something, but then someone popped right in front of the food. Which was somewhat startling. Frickin' shadow-travel. Oh, hey, it was that one guy from the infirmary. Ezrah, right? He didn't seem to be paying much attention to Carmen and Annie, so Carmen didn't pay him much mind either. He finished his little hand wave towards the food, and said, "Well, let's get some food, then," and walked over there. He grabbed a plate, duh, a few pieces of chicken, and some leafy salad that sat forlornly off to the side. He had to balance out the chicken with something healthy, after all.

Annalise noticed another guy pop in - could everyone shadow travel in this camp? Dang. Nonetheless, she walked over to the food, picking up a plate and inhaling, eyes closing. Ahh, the scent of unhealthy foods in the afternoon. She grinned, placing a few pieces of chicken on her plate along with a roll and an orange. She turned to Carmen, head inclined towards the tables. "They won't mind where we sit, since it's not dinner, right?"

"Yeah, they don't really seem to care at other times." Good excuse not to sit at the titan table. Leave that little tidbit of information hidden away as long as humanely possible. Demigodly possible? Demititanly possible. Carmen led the way to a table that happened to be a good distance away from Ezrah. Was this usually the Demeter table? Anyways, he didn't mean to sit far away as an insult, it was just... it'd be kind of weird to walk up and sit real close to him, you know? And though he seemed like an alright sort of guy, he was, frankly, pretty creepy-looking.

Annalise shrugged - she normally didn't actually eat dinner here, preferring to grab food and take it to the courtyard or something. She was so not sitting at the demititans table. Why did they even have a demititan table? Someone could just bomb it or something. She sat down at the table, picking up her fork and inhaling the delightful scent once more.

Once Carmen sat down, he picked up a piece of chicken -- a wing -- and took a bite. He was very particular about his chicken-eating, since he hated accidentally biting the bones inside, and had the skill of not-hitting-the-bone down to an art form. The trick was to just memorize where every little chicken bone was and bite precisely next to it. Why the author chose to ramble about the exact way Carmen ate chicken, no one knows. But it was undoubtedly useful information.

Annalise sighed in contentment before picking up a leg and biting into it, moaning slightly at the flavor. Unhealthy foooood. She chewed slowly, eyes closed before she swallowed and began eating like a normal person, pausing only to nibble on her roll - buttery and warm, yum.

It didn't take too long for the short silence to become a long one. Carmen's chewing felt overly loud in his ears, like some kind of weird second pulse. He should say something, but anything he would say would sound like a forced attempt to make conversation. Which it pretty much would be. Agh. He was so bad at making friends, it was no wonder he didn't have any.

Annalise finished her piece of chicken, wiping her mouth off with her napkin and sighed in content. "Ahh, I've missed unhealthy food. I could almost hear my bones growing into diamonds, my buns turning- er." Wait, right, not Ray she was talking to. Okay, awkward.

Carmen nearly choked on his chicken. Wh-what? Buns? Surely she didn't mean- well, she probably did, but- oh, gods, he felt so awkward now. He looked off to the side pointedly, hoping he wasn't turning red or anything. On the rare occasion that he did blush, it always showed up painfully red because of his pale skin. And it was always embarrassing as hell.

Ezrah ate through his food quite barbarically. He didn't care if people looked at hin oddly when he ate. The food was delicious, and Ezrah knew that he could, essentially, eat whatever he wanted and burn thriugh it. Curse of a child of Erebus, he supposed; tmhe was always hopelessly skinny. He was strong, but always a bit lanky. When he had finished, he grabbed a goblet amd had to think for a bit. What did he want to drink? What went well with chicken and potatoes? Probably some kind of root beer. Ezrah looked at the goblet and said, "Honey root beer," and took a drink. It was absolutely delicious. He downed one glass and then another, and looked up at Carmen and the girl he was with. It looked like they might be approaching a lag in the conversation,so Ezrah shadow-traveled over to their table. Unfortunately, he hadn't focused on the specifics; he ended up uncomfortably close to Carmen, who happened to be turning his head away from the conversation and ended up staring right at Ezrah's face.

Annalise had been coughing awkwardly into her hand when the guy appeared, causing her to jump, eyes widening in shock for a moment. It- for a moment it looked like they were going to kiss. Maybe - she remembered seeing a ring on his finger - they were husbands? Aww, that's kind of adorable again. Like and ABC Family movie. Or a Scy-Fy one - they were demigods after all.

HOLY F#CKING SHIT WHAT. Suddenly, Carmen's face was dangerously close to someone else's, and his first instinct was to lean as far away as he possibly could very quickly. Unfortunately, that meant he had a lot of momentum heading backwards, and he sort of fell off the table bench and flat onto his back on the ground. He'd still had some food in his mouth when he fell, so it obviously managed to lodge itself in his throat. He couldn't breathe now. Of all the horrible things to happen-

Ezrah had, essentially, the same reaction as Carmen. He was more prepared,though, as he'd been the one who did the travelling. So he simply fell into his own shadow and then flew back out of, and then stood up. He looked over at Carmen. Oh, Titans; he was choking. Figuring Carmen liked this girk at his table, Ezrah motioned at the choking boy. "You should save him." He said calmly. Saving his life would likely make a stronger connection between the two of them.

Shit-shit-shit! "Why do I have to save your husband?!" Annalise shouted, waving her hands wildly before collapsing on her knee's beside him, trying in vain to recall how to do CPR. Because thats what she was supposed to do right? Punch his stomach and breathe into his mouth? Ohhh this better go right! She attempted to bring her fist down on his stomach, leaning her head over his.

Oh, NO, DON'T TRY CPR, NO. Whatever Carmen did, he could not let anyone's lips touch his. Annie sort of punched him in the stomach, which forced air out of his lungs, but not enough to push the blockage from his windpipe. He quickly put a hand over his mouth and shook his head vigorously, trying to convey the NO THIS IS A VERY VERY BAD IDEA message. Wait a second, husband? What?!
