Practice (PRIVATE WITH DRAGON)

Kodee shrugged and looked at Ashley for a second. I don't know, maybe I'll just move on then. Are you free tonight, beautiful? He grinned and walked over to Ashley before leaning down and pulling her up with him. Kodee laughed as he saw her and then his face fell slightly as he thought about his encounter with Anna. Quickly he covered it with another grin.

Dallas stood up and walked slowly toward the river with his figurine in hand. He slipped it into his pocket and sheathed the dagger while thinking about the day and what he would do later. Just then the son of Hades heard crying from up ahead and he stopped in confusion. The scream sounded like Anna but he couldn't understand what had made her so upset. Dallas picked up the pace and was behind Anna within seconds. He sat down and wrapped his arm around the girl, pulling her close to him while he kissed the top of her head. You know what I see? I see the most beautiful girl in the world who is just having a bad day and deserves to be with an equally good looking guy. Now what's wrong Anna?

Instantly Kodee's face fell as he heard the words "Anna, hottie, and plans" as if they belonged in the same sentence without having to do with him. He knew that there was no reason to worry about Ashley falling for Dallas but he was more worried about her finding out what he had done to Anna just minutes ago. Austin had been wrong when he said that Kodee would get better with this charm. Yet if there was ever a time for help then this was it so Kodee called up his deeper side of the charm. The son of Thanatos dropped his gaze and spoke softly.

Ashley, there's something you need to know about earlier. I...I was just talking to Anna a few minutes ago. Her boyfriend...he...he's a cool guy but I messed up. A few minutes ago I was...I made a mistake Ashley. Kodee looked up at Ashley and took a deep breath. I kissed Anna because I was stupid and wasn't thinking. I would blame it on being a guy or something like that but it was just my idiotic pig headed self and I shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry Ashley but I don't think I'll be there. I love you though... Kodee looked away and started for the door.

Kodee looked at Ashley in stunned silence but finally he was able to smile and nod just barely. I'm sure I can make it. Well, I'll talk to you then, Ashley. Kodee walked out of the cabin and pulled out a small disk that he always kept on his person. Immediately it expanded and an iPod Touch was in its place. The son of Thanatos put the earbuds in and walked toward the lake.

Dallas smirked and stood up to look at Anna again. He had heard about the lake thing but hadn't wanted to say anything in case Anna wasn't going to go. The son of Hades nodded and laughed. Alright but if Kodee tries anything there then I will kill him without a second thought then face the wrath of you and everyone else there. The son of Hades walked toward Camp.

Kat walked briskly toward the lake with her arms in a wool coat and her hands in a pair of gloves. She was amazed that it was so chilly but now was time for the thing at the lake. The girl arrived and walked over to sit and wait for everyone else to show up and start the party.

Kat looked up at the sound of Anna running up and saying hello to her, which was kind of funny since she could still remember when she had heard Kodee say that he had kissed the girl. It was only a few minutes earlier but still she had been shocked when Kodee had been devastated about it. Kat smiled at Anna and waved before turning to look at her brother who was sitting about ten feet away from them with his iPod in his ears. The boy was sitting with his head down and his hair in his eyes but Kat could tell he knew Anna was there and was avoiding talking to her. What's the deal with you and Kodee? He seems to be avoiding you now all of a sudden.

Dallas walked over the soft sand as his shoes sank slightly into the substance that if heated would turn into glass. It was amazing that sand, something so insignificant, could turn into glass, which would seal rooms against the vacuum of space. Sort of like Dallas himself when he was angry. Under normal circumstances, the boy was calm and wouldn't be able to fight even the weakest of people but when he was angry. Needless to say, Dallas was far stronger and could take even the most highly trained heroes. At that moment when he entered, Dallas was calm and weak but when he saw the way Kodee tensed when Anna sat next to the other girl, Dallas became like glass. Dallas glared at Kodee and then walked over to Anna and her friend in his anger.

Kodee had been keeping his eyes forward but he had great peripheral vision and so he knew when Dallas walked up to his sister and Anna, who was busy talking about him. The son of Thanatos wasn't worried about that but when he glanced over briefly and saw the look of pure hatred on Dallas' face, he felt his mouth go dry and his palms start sweating. That truce they had made was pretty much nullified now because of his kissing Anna earlier and Kodee wasn't ready for a fight with Dallas. He was pretty certain that Dallas was capable of killing him and that meant even the slightest of problems would get him a fight.

Kat smiled at Dallas, or started to but saw his gaze, before looking over at Kodee who suddenly looked scared. That was strange since most people who were related to Death weren't scared of dying. Kat gazed at Dallas and then realized where she had seen him before, leaving the Hades cabin. This was a son of the god of the Underworld and one of the Big Three Olympians. That meant that even Thanatos was going to be no match for the god. Kat gave an approving nod and spoke quietly. Kodee is strong for his age...as am I and my uncle who I'm sure will gladly impale you on a sword if you hurt my brother. With that the daughter of Thanatos looked away and fretted with her shirt and dagger.

Dallas heard the girl's words just before he replied and stopped mid word. He wasn't sure why but this girl seemed strong and he didn't want to fight her or her uncle who he had seen once before.
Still this girl was over confident about her brother since Kodee had started it and Dallas could see the boy was scared out of his skin. It's nice to meet you too, Kat, but I think you are missing facts here. One, Kodee has molested my girlfriend and tried to kill me a couple times. He has been over confident and can now tell that I am angry. If he slips up then he will be on a sword before I meet my end. Dallas sat down next to Anna while keeping himself ready to move in a heartbeat.

Austin seemed to be growing into more of a soft hearted sap in the past days, especially since he had started to heal people all the time and stop fights and now it looked like another fight was breaking out. People were backing away from the beach slowly with eyes wide and fear on their faces. Something was going on and since Austin knew Kodee had gone there as well as Dallas... The son of Nike bolted for the beach, quickly texting Zephen to get his ass to the beach and help him. As he neared, Austin felt the aura of anger and tension strike and he saw Zephen land on the sand just a little to his left. The son of Nike nodded and walked over to the group quickly with his hand on his sword just in case.

Zephen followed suit but this time he wasn't ready for a fight and was more here to stop the fight without harming anyone. Of course when he had gotten Austin's text, the son of Zeus knew what was happening and so he had made it here as quick as possible. Now he could see why. Kat was on the beach with her hand gripping and ungripping her dagger while she had an angry look on her face. Dallas was glaring at Kodee who was sitting a little ways away looking like Zeus himself had just threatened him. Then there was Anna who was frustrated. Put all of that together and that equaled fight between Greenes and this Hades brat. Zephen smoothly stepped in between Kat and Dallas while Austin did the same between Dallas and Kodee. We don't need violence right now. Just calm down and relax already.

As if a signal had been sounded for the end of a work day, Dallas snapped his eyes away from the people in front of him and watched as Anna took off for the cabins. Already he knew what was wrong and he had to make up for it later but right now he had something else to do. In his time of anger, Dallas had gotten ready for a fight and now he used his strength to push past Austin and Zephen, making sure his hands were away from his weapons. Dallas walked straight to Kodee and dragged him to his feet by his shirt collar. I will not accept you kissing my girlfriend again but right now, Anna is upset and we need to put our differences aside to keep this from going bad for us both. Remember if she gets upset then your girlfriend will hate you for it. Now call off your family so I can walk out of here. When Kodee nodded and gave a meaningful look to Austin and Zephen, Dallas let go and walked toward Camp. He slipped into the area between two cabins and scaled one until he was able to run across to where Anna was. Instead of talking, Dallas sat down next to her and held a tissue out to his girlfriend.

Do you realize that Dallas is just another hot-headed punk who needs to be dropped down a notch? Kat glared at her uncle as he reprimanded her for the potential fight that had just about happened. It had come to his attention that Kat had instigated it more than she should have and that was what had been the real issue. I don't care if he is hot-headed or not. Dallas is a son of Hades and he didn't do anything even when he had the chance before he left. Trust me, if he wanted to then he could have taken us all except for Zephen just because of his father. The son of Nike glared at his niece and then over at Kodee who was still in utter shock from the situation. Amazing how one kiss could do that to a person.

Zephen looked at his cousin and smiled kindly because he had been in a similar situation. You know something Kodee, you aren't like Austin like most people say. You are more like your mom. She was just like me and I am surprised that you haven't passed out yet. Just stay calm and breathe the next time something like this happens. Big Three demi gods are just like the rest of us, I would know. We just have stronger parents and that is it. Zephen gave Kodee a hug before standing up and walking away. The boy could use a little time to calm down. Come on, Austin Zane, it's time to let these two get calmed down. Besides we have other things to do anyhow. As Zephen walked by, he dragged Austin away from Kat and they both left for the main part of Camp.

Kodee shrugged as Kat walked over to him and he moved over slightly to let her sit down next to him.You shouldn't have threatened him like that, Kat. Dallas has every right to get pissed off at me and he wasn't even doing anything anyhow. I did kiss Anna and Ashley knows about it so Dallas can be upset and if he tries to kill me then I might just let him do it. It's not worth the fighting every time I see him anyhow. Kodee watched the water as he spoke and avoided looking at his sister.

Kat shook her head in frustration before smacking Kodee across the face. As the red mark seemed to burn up on Kodee's face, Kat glared at her brother and shoved him down. You will not give up just because he doesn't like you. Yes you made a mistake but that isn't a death sentence in itself.

Kodee stood up slowly and chuckled at his sister who had always been able to beat him in a fight whether it be fair or not. Still it had shocked him that she had attacked him like that and now Kodee was sporting a large bruised area on his cheek in the shape of a feminine hand at about ten years old. The son of Thanatos looked at Kat before spinning on his heel and walking toward Camp. Somewhere in the Camp was Ashley and at the moment he needed to talk to her or else he would go seek out Dallas and end the fight now.

Kat shook her head and sat back down in a huff. So much for their meeting here on the beach now that Kodee and Dallas had gotten into a fight on the beach and were obviously tearing the group apart down the middle.

On the roof of the Apollo cabin, Dallas was able to see when Kodee walked by, obviously looking for someone and not in a very good mood. He had a large bruise on his cheek and Kodee looked like he was on a mission so the son of Hades stood up and made sure to stay out of sight. He watched as Kodee walked by and then jumped down and sprinted into the trees just to the left of the son of Thanatos. The trees were dark and Dallas was able to move silently and without being seen easily enough.

Kodee walked through the trees until he came to a clearing where two female voices were hushed. It sounded almost like Anna and Ashley were talking about what would happen if him and Dallas got into a fight. With a sigh, Kodee stood up straighter and walked into view of the two girls while preparing himself mentally for a fight. Suddenly Dallas was right next to him and Kodee nearly jumped out of his skin.

Dallas frowned at Anna and Ashley before turning to Kodee and smiling. So, Kodee, I guess we are both here to talk and not fight. Maybe we should talk to the girls first though and see where that goes. With that the son of Hades walked over to Anna and grabbed her by the hand. He pulled her off to the side and lowered his voice. I didn't mean to make you cry earlier and I hope you realize that.

Kodee nodded at Dallas before walking up to Ashley and taking her hands in his. He didn't speak right away but looked into her eyes. Finally Kodee smiled and spoke softly. Well I'm sure you heard about what almost happened at the beach.
