Percy drove the car down the spiral exit to the bottem. "Hey Ronnie, could you do me a favor, and put your seatbelt on? I really dont need another entry in my criminal record.." He said, looking at him through the rear view mirror. "Your welcome Annabeth." He smirked, pulling out of the garage, and turning onto the main road.

I made a quiet grunting noise in response and slowly put my seatbelt on. I glanced at Pearce and wonder if I should try and put on a seatbelt for him...

The temple needed water... but what could she do with it. Annabeth watched out the window as Percy drove, approaching the river that they'd need to drive under to get back on Long Island. And it came to her. She brightened. Waterfall walls. But not really. Water sliding off of the walls, quietly... perfect. "Hey, Perce, what do you think of... water walls for Poseidon's temple?" she asked him pensively, still considering the idea. It'd be perfect, she'd been so stupid.. obviously it needed hues of water, but it also needed water itself. How could she make a temple for the god of water without it?

Percy took note at Ronnie's glance at Pearce. "That'd be a good idea." He answered. Driving over the bridge, he took the first right, and another left. There weren't that many people, so it felt like the road was all his. Wondering, he started to recall the time when he first came to camp, and the Minotaur attacked them. It all felt like a dream now, it was such a long time ago. Listening to Annabeth he laughed slightly. "Well genius, I believe it's an awesome idea."

Annabeth rested her head on her arms, looking up at Percy and feeling like a kindergartner. She grinned when he replied. "I thought so..." she contemplated this for a moment. "Though it might take a little longer than I was hoping..." she closed her eyes for a moment, resting. She was exhausted.

Pearce woke up and looked around. "We're not there yet? What the hell?" He asked in a groggy tone. He didn't really care if he was in a speeding car he opened the door and hopped out of the car, rolling forward to break his fall. He stood and walked back to camp.

I saw that Pearce was now awake and he just jumped out of the car. I turned to Percy and the grumpster and said, "Well I guess that's my cue to say bye! So...bye Percy! Bye Grumpy Lady! Hope we can meet again soon." With that I hopped out of the same door Pearce went out of, squealing with giddy glee as I crashed into the ground and rolled for a few seconds. Thankfully I didn't scrape my face up or anything. My pants were a little torn at the knees now and the skin was a little torn up, but I felt fine.

Annabeth Chase

Hearing Pearce and Ronnie speak, Annabeth's head whipped around to face the back seats of the car, just quickly enough to watch them... jump out? She was about to open her mouth in protest, but they were gone too quickly for her to make any other response besides sitting and gaping like an idiot.

"Are they-" she cut herself off mid-sentence. She was about to say mental, before she had realized that was a dumb remark to make. Slumping back against the cushy seat interior she rolled down the window a tad, trying to see if she could make out their forms in the tall grass on the side of the rustic Long Island parkway. She couldn't. With a frown she turned back to Percy, tucking her lugs up to her chest. "Well, that was... interesting," she remarked with a tired chuckle.

Percy kept the speed of the car, only slowing down slightly when they jumped out. "Bye Ronnie!" He responded, turning a corner, and slowing down into the spot he'd parked before. "Yes, yes they are." He smirked, knowing what Annabeth was about to say. He rolled up all the windows and pulled the keys out of the key hole, turning the car off.

Annabeth sat in the seat for a moment, leaning back before she would have to get out. "I know... you seem awfully undisturbed by the fact that they just jumped out of the side door of a speeding vehicle, though. Your speeding vehicle, to be exact. Be glad there was no cop sitting over there to arrest you." she grinned, teasing him a bit, but she was serious. "Great. Now I have to go back to my cabin and face the wrath of my architecture notes. Exciting."

Percy smiled lightly." Is it a bit disturbing, but we've seen worse" He grinned, remembering all the monsters and the uests they had. Blowing up that mountain was pretty disturbing too. "Want me to help you with your architecture notes?"

"We've definitely seen worse," she remarked mildly, thinking back to the Battle of Manhattan. Silena dying, chaos everywhere, Luke... she blinked, forcing her mind away from those thoughts and listening to Percy's offer. "If you can handle it,"
she grinned halfheartedly, tired. "Yes. That would be awesome." At least she wouldn't be faced with all of her thoughts and Olympus plans alone, not for now.

Percy smiled and got out of the car. Walking over to Annabeth's side, he opened the door, and held out his hand for her to grab. "Alright, lets get to work then" He grinned.

Annabeth grabbed Percy's hand, hoisting herself up out of the sports car. She shut the door gently behind her, beginning to walk in the direction of camp with Percy.

"Let us." She chuckled lightly, relieved to see the familiar shape of Thalia's pine after their eventful night.

Percy smiled and walked along side her, up the hill. "Oh my gods!" He pulled out his car keys and pressed the lock button. "Paul would've killed me!" He beathed a sigh of relief, and continued walking into camp.

Annabeth burst into laughter, nudging him. "You're so forgetful, Seaweed Brain. Though I'm sure Paul could never kill you, your mom would never let him," she grinned as they entered camp.

I laughed. "Pushover." I teased, and looked around. It was one of those bowling alleys that smelled awfully of cigarette smoke and sh*tty alcohol. Blech.
