Practice (PRIVATE WITH DRAGON)

Kodee looked up and then stared over at the door to Austin's room where he had seen his uncle take the little girl only a little bit ago. Slowly he walked into the room and walked over to Rebecca, carefully showing his hands in a sign of peace. Everything's okay it was just a dream. He sat down next to the little girl and then pulled her into his lap comfortingly. When he had been younger he'd always seen his grandfather hold Kat like that when she was upset and soon she calmed down. Hopefully it would help Rebecca calm down as well.

Austin walked down the stairs and saw the commotion in his room. Then he saw that Kodee was handling it so he sat down and pulled his phone out. If only he had gotten Taylor's number then maybe he could text her right now.

Kodee smiled and stood up as he sighed and thought about how this was going to be strange. He'd just lost Kat but Rebecca felt like his little sister already and he didn't mind making sure she felt safe. Kodee walked out of the room and saw Austin sitting down looking at his phone longingly as if he wished he had a number. The son of Thanatos walked over to his uncle and sat down as he lowered his head into his hands. When's Taylor going to be here? Kodee wasn't stupid and the only reason Austin would've ran in and showered was if he was expecting Taylor.

Austin looked up and shrugged as he slipped his phone into his pocket. I don't know exactly. I kissed her and she kissed me. Then I passed out after she took off saying she would see me later so I'm not even sure if she'll be here.

Austin rolled his eyes and quickly typed in his number before he hit send. The teenager glanced at Kodee who was smiling and then at Ashley who was giggling. What is so funny all of a sudden? Everyone seems to be laughing all the time now. He frowned and then looked at his door and smiled at the thought of Rebecca laying there peacefully. Is she okay? He asked indicating the little girl who was asleep again.

"She's just shaken up. She'll be okay. Just, don't forget her in the car again." She teased. Her phone started beeping a million miles a minute. Ashley looked at the screen and laughed. Taylor kept texting her asking for her help of what to wear and all the stuff girls worry about. Ashley rolled her eyes, and showed Austin the screen. "Someone's getting worked up about you" She laughed, but Ashley took the phone back and typed in the most obvious answer, Be you, that's what he likes

Austin nodded and then read the messages quickly before he busted out laughing. He had thought he was worried but apparently Taylor was as well. Maybe he did stand a chance with the daughter of Aphrodite after all. Yeah that wasn't intentional...maybe I should apologize to her when she wakes up. Austin thought about it and then smiled at Ashley. Tell Taylor that she can wear whatever she wants because I like her for her not for what she looks like.

"That's what I just did ya goofball." She rolled her eyes, and glanced at her phone again. "Taylor says she's coming over now, and a friend of hers is letting you guys eat at his restaurants for free." She said. Just then there was a knock at the door. "I'll get it." She laughed, and went to the door. 
Taylor smiled when Ashley opened the door. "Hey!" She said smiling. Ashley was a bit awestruck. Even though Taylor was daughter of Aphrodite, she looked like Miss America. "You look awesome, come on in." Ashley said. Taylor followed her inside, and over to where the boys were. She smiled. "Hey Austin."

Austin blinked a few times as he tried to make his mind work again after the shock of seeing Taylor. This had to be a dream or maybe he had gone to Elysium or something like that but there was no way he would let himself be awkward again. Hey Taylor, you look...beautiful. He froze as he thought about how that could be taken and then he mentally facepalmed. You are beautiful, I mean, but... He gave up and looked to Ashley for help.

Ashley laughed. "He means you must be your moms favorite." She said.
Taylor blushed. She looked at the clock on the wall. "We should get going, one of my brothers has a limo waiting outside." She said smiling

Austin about shit himself when he stood up and looked outside to see the limo sitting there waiting for him and Taylor to walk out there. Silently he thanked the gods, especially Aphrodite, for this one night and smiled at Taylor. Let's go then. After you... He motioned for Taylor to walk out and then followed her.

Kodee waited for Austin and Taylor to leave before he busted out laughing and forced himself to calm down. Yet as soon as he thought about what Austin had done when Taylor walked in he started laughing again. It got so bad that Kodee was rolling on the ground holding his sides while he laughed at his uncle's face.

Ashley rolled her eyes. "You are ridiculous."  She teased. She walked up to her room and sat on the bed playing on her phone.
Taylor and Austin were driven to an upscale restaurant. A man who looked to be about twenty years old came out to greet them. "Mademoiselle Taylor!" The man said smiling. Taylor gave him a hug. "Hey Andrew." She laughed. Andrew led the two to the rooftop, where it had been decorated with lanterns and candles. Taylor smiled at Austin, and the two sat down.

The limo pulled up to a restaurant that was obviously fancy and not somewhere where he would go normally and Austin realized that he hadn't expected this. He stepped out and helped Taylor out before the man walked out and led them up to the rooftop where they sat down. Austin smiled at Taylor and quickly made sure his phone was shut off so that he didn't have to deal with it ringing in the middle of the meal. He thought, well more of didn't think, and blinked a couple times. So...you really are beautiful.

I could seem like a ladies man but I would rather be myself. He smiled and leaned over the table. Quickly he kissed Taylor and leaned back away from her with a small smirk playing across his lips. I guess there's a little of both in me.

Kodee stood up after calming down and walked up the stairs still clutching his sides in pain. He walked up to Ashley's door and knocked lightly before walking in. D..did you n..not see the look on his f...face? Still Kodee was holding back the laughing fit but he couldn't keep a straight face.

I'm goofy and you...you are the most beautiful girl I have ever met and am really glad you came here with me. Slowly Austin slid his hand out and took Taylor's in his, wrapping his fingers around hers while he smiled at her. Besides, you will probably here about my...escapades...at Camp.

Kodee slowly breathed in deeply and sighed after he calmed down enough to speak normally. I don't mess with him as much as you think. He's always been this smooth talking ladies man since I met him and now when I get to see him so nervous and stuttering it makes me laugh. He looked at Ashley and then wrapped her in his arms and kissed her for a few seconds. The exact opposite of me honestly... He kissed Ashley again.

Dallas woke up and looked around confused until he realized that he had fallen asleep on the roof of the house and that it was now dark outside. Slowly he stood up and whistled for Flare who galloped down out of the air and landed next to him with an impatient whinny. Dallas grinned and mounted the Pegasus who then flew down and landed on the ground outside the door. He dismounted and patted Flare before he walked inside and saw a little girl on the couch with a blanket around her shoulders. Hey, I'm Dallas. Have you seen Kodee or Ashley around here...better yet, have you seen Anna?

Kodee laughed and twirled a strand of Ashley's hair around his finger in thought. Naw, you are the more interesting person to tease. He kissed her and then winked at Ashley.

Austin looked at the menu and then realized he had no idea what to order so he looked back at Taylor. Yeah I have no idea what to order here...

Austin laughed and stood up before he walked over to Taylor's chair and helped her up with a small kiss on her cheek. Well then...after you Taylor. He slipped his arm into hers and started out of the restaurant.

Kodee chuckled and shrugged before he stood up and pulled Ashley into his arms. Fine but we should go down stairs and check on Rebecca to see if she is still asleep. In a devious moment, Kodee kissed Ashley one last time before he swept her into his arms and ran down the stairs, still carrying her.

Kodee chuckled and shook his head as he stormed down the stairs and fell forward, flipping at the last second, onto the couch. He wrapped Ashley in his arms and held her close while he showered her with kisses.

Dallas looked up in time to see Kodee come flying down the stairs with Ashley in his arms and then fall down onto the couch on his back. Apparently they were having fun so he didn't say anything to them.

Austin walked in the house and saw the scene which he laughed at but then turned to Taylor and the look in his eyes gave him away. He kissed Taylor and wrapped his arms around the girl softly while he brushed her hair from her face and thought about how she was the best girl he had met.
