Practice (PRIVATE WITH DRAGON)

Kodee smiled and hugged Rebecca, wrapping his arms tightly around her while he laid down next to her. His armor amazingly hadn't retained any of the blood and so he was clean as he laid down next to the girl he had come to accept as his little sister already. Anna was really helpful out there when Dallas and I were nearly killed after being overwhelmed. He brushed Rebecca's hair out of her face and waited for her to talk.

Kodee grinned and silently pulled his arms away from Rebecca as he stood up. Carefully he pulled the blanket up over her and tucked her in while he made sure that she was safe and comfortable. When that was done, Kodee walked over to the door and out of the room while he wrapped Ashley in a hug. Quickly he pulled the door shut but left it open enough to let light into the room. He kissed Ashley and then pulled her over to the couch where he sat down with her. This is one helluva day, I would say. I'm glad you're safe though...

Ashley smiled. "Just make sure whenever you get into trouble to have Anna around." She teased.

Kodee chuckled and kissed Ashley again, this time snuggling close to her and realizing how close he had come to losing this kind of moment forever. It was like the world had been faded together with Hades and he had almost met Cerberus while everyone else was defending him.

Austin had been calming down when he looked up to see if Taylor was around. He knew how close Dallas and Kodee had come to dying and if there had been any chance of him dying then he would have lost the chance to see Taylor again. Austin looked around and finally sat down in the chair.

Dallas walked up the stairs, more of a stumble, as he felt his limbs fill with lead and his head begin to pound. Never before had he fought so many monsters and tried to protect someone before, which meant that Kodee had become like more than a friend to him. Suddenly he found himself at Anna's door. Thank you for saving Kodee...and me. His voice was raw and he blinked away the tears that sprung to his eyes when he realized that Anna had spent so much energy to save them both.

If you're still here can you talk to me please? Austin sent the text and the stripped from his armor and shirt. He leaned back, sweat glistening from his bare skin. Austin sighed as unconsciously he drummed out the beat to Hero by Skillet.


Kodee rubbed his hand over Ashley's back and the smirked at her. I love you Ashley...more than is probably safe for either of us. Modes kissed Ashley's cheek and pressed his forehead to hers.

Ashley rested a moment. The she laughed and got up. She threw a pillow at Kodee. "It's late." She said, and jogged up to her room, where she fell asleep instantly.
(the next morning)
Anna jogged down the stairs and sat down on the couch where Ashley already was. Somehow, they were identical again. Anna giggled and went over to Rebeccas' room, where she was playing with some dolls Anna had given to her. "Taylor is coming over, and she says she's bringing all of her music and makeup and dresses to play dress up with."
Rebecca jumped up excitedly."Yay!" She squealed. The two went over to Ashley, and the trio made a no boys allowed sign, and put it on Rebeccas door. They then went inside and set the music blaring, and excited whispers and giggles rang through the room.

Kodee woke up groggily while he rolled from the couch and stretched. Apparently he had fallen asleep before he had ever even made it off of the couch to walk up the stairs. Now he heard the sound of music and giggling from where Rebecca slept and he smiled to himself. Austin, you might need a new room here soon. After all the older boy had given his room to Rebecca when she had moved in with them and he never made it a point to find a new place to sleep so he had just slept in the chair every night.

Austin blinked tiredly and checked to see what time it was, six thirty in the morning. Wonderful just the time it needed to be for them. Suddenly his phone buzzed and Austin checked it to see that there was a concert in twelve hours for them to perform at. Apparently the agent hadn't needed to talk to them about it before she set it up for A+ to perform for the whole world. ANNA BANT! NEED TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT THE BAND NOW!

Just be glad I don't know your middle name, missy, or you would have heard it to. Just then he heard the sound of someone walking up the walk way toward the door. Quickly he looked toward the door and then raised his eyebrow at Anna. Instead of asking he stepped away from her and showed her the text about the concert later that evening. As he moved he pulled on a shirt and then grabbed his jacket from his bag which he had set down next to the chair.

Kodee grinned and looked out of the window to see who was walking up the walk toward the door. Before he could say anything, Kodee bit back a laugh and choked on the sound that came out until he couldn't take it anymore. He dashed up the stairs while wondering how Austin would survive this one today if he had just woke up and was worried about calling Anna by her last name.

((Sorry had nothing to post so I hope you don't mind that I sorta announced Taylor's arrival ))

Austin saw Taylor walk in the house and immediately his mind went from on guard to fully vulnerable as he completely missed the dark look from Anna. Without even thinking, Austin walked over to the door and knocked lightly, just loud enough to be heard over the music and giggling. Taylor can I please talk to you, before your day in girl heaven? He'd never gotten to say he was honestly scared last night when he had about died saving his nephew and as good as nephew from death. Now that Taylor was here he would do just that.

Taylor...I... Austin frowned as he struggled to find the right words to express what he wanted to say exactly. Finally he blinked and grabbed her hand, pulling her into a kiss, feeling the immense weight of people watching him but not really caring. Dallas walked down the stairs and looked at Taylor and Austin. Silently he walked back upstairs and sat down waiting. I just wanted to do that again...in case I die tonight if another swarm of monsters comes through. Austin pulled away from Taylor and smiled weakly.

Austin blinked in confusion and was about to walk up the stairs when he stopped. His guitar was sitting next to the chair so he grabbed it and hooked it into an amp. Slowly the teen played not even paying attention to what he was actually playing.

Austin growled and then put the guitar down before he scooped Rebecca up into a tight cage-like grip. With a menacing grin he started tickling her and called out. Kodee and Dallas get down here. Both boys ran downstairs and grabbed their girlfriends in hugs

Austin thought carefully and then shook his head vigorously before he whispered in Rebecca's ear. Only if I can get a kiss from Taylor.

Kodee laughed but instead of stopping he began to tickle Ashley.

Dallas let go of Anna but smiled at her innocently.

Fine I hold Rebecca hostage...ransom is set at one kiss from Taylor. Austin waited for a reply while he tickled the girl.

Modes heard Austin and immediately froze, waiting to see how this would work out.
